when you are perfect over there, then you can tell us what we are doing so wrong from over there.

Said Hitler to the rest of the world.

Yes, hyperbole to make a point, but "perfect" is an idiots standard and a defense employed by children.

If only the perfect were fit to judge then everything is acceptable.

ATS will never become a pro Trump utopia, no matter how hard you try.

That train has left the station. They can come in here and be ungodly rude, namecalling and stupid demeaning insults to people who are vastly more intelligent and successful than them, put up the silly dumbass memes, and show their entire array of hatred, and get lots of pats on the back in the form of 'stars' to do it, and I guess, feel like they've accomplished something.

If you removed the insulting posts on this this thread, I doubt it would be a page long.

It's their safe space. Monkey see, monkey do.

Reread your own post. You don't see the irony do you?

But Trump made you do it, right? You prove our point.

Now are you saying I don't understand irony? You have to take your shots where you can get them I guess, if that's the most pertinent you can muster.

OF course I see it, and if the off-topic posts were removed from this thread, mine would be among them. But when you have a horde of people coming in attacking someone with words like "POS", and "on the dole" ( I don't know who wrote that, someone born in 1925?), and all the other nonsense I didn't bother to read, I found it difficult not to speak up.

Now. Continue your insults, and enjoy your 'accomplishments'.

Happy Holidays.

Like these kind of threads EVER provide meaningful dialog. You seemed to be able to step in and fling with the best of them.

Perhaps if we all tried to stop it, we could talk to each other rather than at eachother. Sooner or later both sides have to come to the realization that we can achieve more working with one another than continuing the Divide.

That doesn't seem to be an option for the 12 or so years.

Put another way, I think it is inaccurate to claim that those trump supporters (not all) "believe" their own lies, they just see little difference between the value of truth and lies.

Man are you riffing Clinton right there?

“If everybody’s watching, you know, all of the backroom discussions and the deals, you know, then people get a little nervous, to say the least. So you need both a public and a private position,” Mrs. Clinton said in an April 2013 address. “You just have to sort of figure out how to — getting back to that word, ‘balance’ - how to balance the public and the private efforts that are necessary to be successful, politically, and that’s not just a comment about today.”

So, you are saying that Hillary Clinton lied like Trump Supporters (i.e. Pizzagate)?
And thus Trump Supporters are aspiring to be like Hillary Clinton?

If not, then how does a Clinton quote from years ago apply to the conversation?

Just proving that people on all sides do it. And we continue to see lies.

The quote was 2 years before Clinton started running and it's not relevant?

See this is the point, there's not a bridge to reach over the gap anymore. Why would you want to work with an opposition who constantly calls you a liar and insults ect?

Do we just never get over the namecalling?

And before you say it's just Republicans or Pro Trump people .....

Poll: Just 12 percent of Dems see Clinton as 'honest and trustworthy'.

When broken down by party, just 12 percent of Democrats say Clinton is honest and trustworthy — worse than Trump's 19 percent rating among Republicans. However, Democrats are more inclined to think Clinton has the temperament to serve (39 percent) than Republicans are for Trump (19 percent).

The beautiful part of this board always being here, is we will be coming back say around June or so to see how the economy is doing.

The proof, as they say, is in the results.

I simply can't wait. I am personally going to be around $3K richer.

But you said you believe in made up crap. You even urged that crap be made up if it gets Trump impeached:

I would go as far as saying it would be justifiable to impeach him on any grounds possible, including any grounds that have been created. That is to say I would support the intelligence community just making something up and leaking to the purposes of impeaching him

www.abovetopsecret.com...

So you only believe that made up crap is okay as long as it's used against Trump and his supporters?

Which is it?

That pretty much sums up what the entire left believes and has been doing and reporting in MSM....

It's like they live in a twilight zone or something....

....and it could have been better for even more people had we had both sides paddling the same way with fairly equal input. But no, we have to bicker about stupid things while something as unimportant as the biggest change in tax policy in 30 years happens.

We need bipartisan support and input on such "big deal" things. I blame both sides for that. Neither wants to work with the other. When that happens, America overall suffers from that.

Is everyone happy with that?

Ya gotta admit though, the OP has hit on a great way to pad his/her stats. Then they sit back and wait for the pages to roll in, then pretend to be butthurt which fires up more pages. Cheers actually OP

The UK has a mountain of its own problems including cuts so deep to the police force so that gypos and thugs are unafraid and do as they please. Car stolen? Good luck even getting the coppers in to do a report. Same with burglaries. My kids hate London with all the acid and knife attacks. But guess what, on a world stage the UK is pretty irrelevant, which may be why they focus on US politics.

This crazy phenomenon is sucking the life out of the internet. Every forum I'm on it's just kool-aid drinkers in a feed back loop. And if you call them on their BS, they get over-the-top hostile. Just posting facts can get you banned from some places.

I think Sarah Huckabee Sanders and, before her, Sean Spicer have played a big part in feeding this beast. When they stand behind an official White House podium and either spew or defend obvious lies and propaganda, it creates a sort of Orwellian cognitive dissonance.

Nothing is real or true anymore. Only thing that has weight is partisan spin.

Spot on, except that both sides are doing it. It just depends on which site you are on. Politics has become a religion, where no team wants to give up ground for fear of losing. Losing what is anyones guess, but this "do nothing congress" is just as bad if not worse. Neither side will give way no matter the issue, and we are talking from waaaaaay back.

And again, the beauty of this entire affair is, come June, what either side says if/when the economy comes roaring back. Look at the stock market, I think last count was 86 new Dow records and climbing. My 401K is looking pretty dang good at the moment. Like DANG good. Having boards like this is great, because reviving this thread will be kind of fun.

Honestly, if these tax cuts suddenly give a vast majority of US taxpayers a cut in their taxes, and jobs are created, it's going to be rather humorous how that is going to get spun.

GIVING PEOPLE MORE OF THEIR OWN MONEY IS CRIMINAL!!

But, forget all of that, what about RUSSIA!!!

The problem for both sides is, we can now get news direct from the sources, instead of having to hear a particular reporters' bias. Just that is going to drive the MSM to maybe, just maybe, report real news, OR, they simply won't have a company to employ them if no one listens to them any longer.

I saw one article on MSNBC that detailed how this may add $1T to the debt, and they said it like the world was going to come to an end, and in fact, dogs and cats really WERE going to start living together. These are the same people who sat back and said jack about the previous administration racking up $10T in debt.

OSOC, I've posted this some years back. My late Great Aunt, was the private Sect'y for a famous financier, in the Thirties. She told me in 1963 that there are eight or nine levels of intel, between what you read in U.S. Newsppapers, and what's really going down. So the U. S. public never really knows "Who's on First, or that What's on Second". But the Big Boys, walk softly, and try not to step on each other's toes. So today, with the dispersal of "Big Boys", across the land, you see Cook and Zuck, going to things like Bohemian Grove, and Bilderberg meetings. It was a much tighter group before WWII got in the way.

One politician's attempt at the truth, may be one of these "Big Boys" upper level dis info leaks. Right now, look at McCabe's classified testimony to the Intel. Committee. What level is McCabe living on, at the F.B.I.?? There are other bureaucrats who still think he's part of Hoover's "Flat Foot Outfit". Personally, I think that bunch is a kind of mop up squad, who are called to clean up one mess, after another.

But if they did conspire to overthrow the incoming Administration, then we need to know some of these deeper levels.

Add to this, that one way to get around leaking classified intel, is to spin a yarn, parallel to it. A lie, maybe, but the truth is still in the shadows. Remember, it's the second rat, who gets the cheese, out of the trap. I hope they leave Mueller alone, and go the opposite way, declassifying what the F.B.I. honchos were up to in "Andy's Office". The Dossier Cr#$p is already out in the public domain, so there's no point in closing this barn door, after "old Dobin", has run away.
The way I see it, throwing everything open will flush out the bad boys, while demanding privacy, on all the private transition e-mails, only has the Intel committee, jumping at the bait, in the trap. So, since the e-mails from the GSA are already out, throw open the doors, and nail anyone, and everyone, who plotted to overthrow our newly elected Administration. I personally believe, that Dir. Comey will fall if this is done properly. But the Transition Team cannot be the first rat to grab the bait in the trap.
These clowns cannot deal with the unexpected, and that's #45's edge. Almost overlooked in all of Trump's Fake News, tweets, is that at that infamous Friars Club roast of Mr. Laurer, he and the mole were probably the only two stone cold sober souls there. But he's kept his silence, of those goings on, while the mole, was writing everything down, on his knee, under his table.

Trump definitely is one of the "Big Boys", so his take on reality may be light years ahead of John Q. Public's. Just don't expect him to give away the store, at some news conference or other. And much of Trump's grief, over casino bankruptcies, were directly caused by a sudden shift at the SCOTUS. Those Nine old fools, really pulled the rug out from under the Gambling Industry. This is what doomed Atlantic City Casinos, not Trump's machinations. And the fall out has really dimmed down Vegas, Baby.

When you wake up, and all you can think of is Trump, just after you went to bed thinking about Trump, it almost seems as if you as an individual should find something else to focus on. Deep hatred leads to really stupid ideas, like all the stupid anti Trump threads. (and when you can't come up with new things about Trump, you turn to his voters)

Letting your antitheses live rent free in your tiny mind ins't good for anyone, and the proof is in your post history.

The funny thing about all this TDS... is there are EXTREMELY legitimate things to criticize Trump over.

I was having a chat yesterday with someone I just met, who has been recently "Red Pilled". He voted for Obama, was a liberal his entire life... started visiting "conspiracy" sites, and comparing Obama's Civil Liberties record with George W Bush, who he hated.

He did not like what he found... and as he dug deeper the lights came on and he realized party politics is all a ruse. The "social issues" i.e. the "customer facing" issues, were where the right and left focused everyone's attention, and in the power plays that are out of the view of the public, both parties were just looting/raping/pillaging the American public.

There are multiple ways to sort out what is what in politics. One is style... the other was substance.

People LOVED Obama's style... the fact that he was running the neocon war playbook of Bush/Cheney, only with a more vicious record on Civil Liberties, even at the end of his presidency, was news to most Obama supporters.

Hell, the provisions of the 2012 NDA Section 1021, when you described them to Obama supporters... caused them to freeze like a deer in the headlights. Most of them had NO idea... despite Obama and the U.S. Government being sued by a consortium of progressive and socialist leaning journalists ( "Hedges v Obama").

Chris Hedges, a man without a racist bone in his body described Obama as a "...black mascot for the corporate state."

(The ONLY reason the TPP didn't get rammed down our throats was Bernie Sanders run for the Dem nomination, bless his heart.)

Anyway... my point... folks like the OP have been getting trolled by Trump from the beginning, because the were enamored of Obama, but couldn't find what Obama was actually DOING even when it hit them in the head.

Trump's a REAL ESTATE TYCOON for gosh sakes!

...and, apparently... he is a GENIUS at Real Estate. Look at how much Real Estate he now owns in the heads of people who hate him, and he's living there RENT FREE!!!! (Good catch, Network Dude)

Hell, they are paying HIM for letting him live in their heads.

Pretty funny, when you think about it.

Obama is not an intelligent man. They had to seal his school records for fear that we would realize what an affirmative action kinda guy he really was. GW Bush's Yale records were available, and he was a pretty average C student....Bill Clinton a freaking genius Rhodes scholar...Obama continues to be one of the dumbest presidents of all time.

That is idiotic.

That is like stating everyone masturbates, so the guy doing it on the bus in front of children every Sunday morning is no big deal.

Frequency, severity and context matter.

Trump is the most consistently dishonest President in history.

The quote was 2 years before Clinton started running and it's not relevant?

Only if you are affirming the OP that anyone critical of Trump is Pro-Clinton.

See this is the point, there's not a bridge to reach over the gap anymore. Why would you want to work with an opposition who constantly calls you a liar and insults ect?

There is no material for bridge building when one side lives in a bitter fantasy land of lies and fiction.
