“Just Incredible”: Tom Fitton Stunned After DOJ Official Bruce Ohr Ditches Senate Intel Committee Hearing (VIDEO)

Fox Business Network reported Monday afternoon that demoted Justice Department official Bruce Ohr unexpectedly ditched his hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

“Demoted Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr was set to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee today. The testimony never happened,” reported the news network.

Yeah... not surprised in the least. Should we all take bets on whether McCabe shows up for his testimony tomorrow or if he flees like a little coward like Ohr did.

If everything these agents / DOH officials did was legal and not sinister then there should absolutely be no reason to hide.

You guys made these decisions now grow a pair and own it.

Well some members of Congress are getting pretty pissed now.

Rep. Nunes issued an order for investigators to go to the DOJ and seize the items he subpoenaed since they were stonewalling.

BOOM! Devin Nunes Orders Investigators to Physically Remove Outstanding Documents From DOJ

“Intel Cmte chair Nunes says Hse Intel Cmte will send investigators to DoJ Thursday to do a “scrub” of documents they have pursued since winter. Nunes says if McCabe doesn’t appear next Tuesd, he will move to subpoena him..or potentially hold McCabe in contempt of Congress,” tweeted Fox News’ Chad Pergram.

I cant remember a time when a Committee Chair issued orders for their investigators to go to an Executive branch agency to seize documents.

The irony in all of this is it is all from the Democrats doings. They wanted these investigations in Trump and every turn we come to it only exposes more and more Democratic collusion and sedition.

You would think them showing up and going through the motions while pleading the 5th may have been a better choice ...Can't see this working out well for him and his crew .

Don't they realize that this just makes them look MORE guilty!?!?!?

Wonder what would happen if I decided not to show up when I was supposed to testify?

I'm sorry, I know it's off topic. But this makes me think of this song and video!

Unless I am mistaken his testimony was supposed to be during a closed session.

As for the 5th I completely agree. To me this looks like an effort to draw this whole process out as long as they can. The Democrats and their corrupt cronies in the FBI / DOJ dont seem to understand how bad this is making them all look.

It is right up their with Schiff excusing himself from a committee session with Trump jr only to see CNN and a few other outlets reporting on the information the committee just reviewed.

All of the committees have been shown to be unwilling to use what power they have making them almost irrelevent. Seems no one has any qualms about ignoring them.

Meanwhile in DC... Clinton / Obama / Comey cronies are trying to enjoy the holidays and finish up some last minute "paperwork" before they are all indicted.

Looks like Trump brought more spotlight to the government than they wanted. This has to be the most transparent government has ever been in my life.

Thanks Trump. It sounds so much better than the sarcastic version used for Obama.

These morons think they are above reproach.

They should be brought in with a armed escort (just in case they try to run).

Does congress (house of reps, because we know the Senate would never do it) have the power to arrest and detain executive branch employees? I would think they would, but I am not sure.

Perfect, issue arrest warrants!

The gig is up, they clearly broke the law and used the DOJ/FBI to spy on a political opponent.
Now they are using ''executive privilege'' to hide their crimes while they destroy evidence.

Its time... handcuffs are order of the day

Yes! This is one of the things that pisses me off the most about these a-holes. They do things that we regular hard-working rule-abiding people would NEVER be allowed to get away with. And it is OUR hard-earned money that is paying them to do their jobs that they aren't doing! I don't know about you guys, but I work my butt off to support myself and be a productive member of society. And then these jackasses get away with not showing up and accounting for what they have done on our dime. Just despicable. How do we put an end to this stuff?

Nope (with the exception of House / Senate members who can be "arrested" and brought to the House / Senate in order to vote on a bill / create a quorum if a group is intentionally trying to disrupt government activities (If I remember correctly)), Congress's authority is oversight investigative only. Any criminal wrong doing that occurs must be referred to the DOJ for review at which point the DOJ decides if they are going to prosecute (Contempt of Congress charge mainly which can be either civil or criminal). All other criminal violations are dealt with by one of the Sergeant at Arms who then works with the Capital Police (NOT the same thing as DC police) to investigate.

* - Sergeant at Arms - US House of Representatives
* - Sergeant at Arms - US Senate

* - DC Metro Police
* - US Capital Police
