I don't know.. I'm still trying to figure out why everyone stares at me when I walk into the grocery store in my underwear. It's really comfortable.

People have no respect.

It’s not our fault when there's an earthquake.

It though becomes our fault when we don’t seek refuge

The fact of the matter is the society wont stop the over sexualization of this culture.

Sex sex sex and more of it

Look at ESPN sports channel. A beautiful woman is at the helm of every show.

Wonder why

No amount of revealing clothing can make democratic lawmakers look 'sexy'.

Deal.

I mentioned elsewhere that my company has a cocktail attire party. I'd wear something like this to it. Absolutely classic, absolutely modest, but also able to make a woman look good.

Madison Ave, worked all that out in the 50s. Marketing is a science, market shares and advertising is pure capitalism.
Marshall McLuhan was prophetic in that "the medium is the message" Sex and violence SELLs, American as Apple pie.
Who wants a slice?

I wish more women dressed like they do in Amsterdam, they don't care what anybody thinks beautiful fashion chaos...beautiful!!

Well ESPN has lost millions of subscribers over the last few years.
Maybe they should go back to sports.

If I deliberately jump into a tank full of sharks with an open cut Its my fault if I get eaten. If deliberately walk through a ghetto at night, alone and unarmed and get murdered, it's my fault for taking that risk, and the fault of the murderer. If I knowingly use my sexuality to gain advantage and...... I think I've made my point.

LOL - - I'm from the Southern CA beaches.

Your underwear probably covers more then what the locals wear - - when they go shopping.

I would never wear that.

But, you go right ahead.

Yep, sure.

If deliberately walk through a ghetto at night, alone and unarmed and murdered it's my fault for taking that risk...

Quite a lot of people live in the ghetto unarmed and have no choice but to walk through.

If I knowingly use my sexuality to gain advantage and...

People who do such, have every right to do so without being on the receiving end of a creeps deviancy.

Don’t have children...
Because you will corrupt a son or blame a daughter.

I think I've made my point.

You have, and it’s bullsh*t.

Let’s blame Charlie Hebdo for drawing Muhammad while we’re at it.

Okay let's take the two points you disagree with first.

The hypothetical murderer is the one at fault for the crime and the hypothetical victim is at lesser fault for taking a risk.

You are quite right when you say that no one should be exposed to unwanted attention. But we don't live in la la land and like those dangerous sharks those creepers do exist in actual reality.

On to your point about Charlie Hebdo. In today's world, unless you like to delude yourself, there is a very good chance that an Islamic extremist will try to kill you if you insult the prophet. That does not mean you deserve to be murdered for it, but you cannot fail to be aware of the risk you are taking when you take that action.

My son's and daughters have not committed any sexual assaults, nor have they been the victims of them. They were brought up to understand the simple concept of action and consequence. The Bull..., to use your expression, in today's world comes from those that have failed to learn, or refuse to understand the basics of modern reality.

Well, we can thank all the politicians who are sexually assaulting and or harassing these women down there in DC. Until their removed or retired or voted out, they have to put with this so best not to wear anything that will turn these deplorables on.

I don't believe anyone said you had to.

I happen to like the retro vibe it has, and I know that I look good in royal blue.

YMMV and that's where and why we all have our own personal taste.

Sexy dress is in the eyes of the beholder.

Marcy should hang out in Central during lunch time, here in HK someday.

Check out the office girls, pretty conservative dress but they wear it well.

...reality.

It is not reality to assign blame to someone being harassed due to the clothing they decide to wear.
That is just setting a low bar.

Women shouldn’t have to dress a certain way just because “creepers exist”...
& if unfortunate enough to fall foul of one, do not deserve one single solitary iota of shaming or blame.

I’d like to apologise for bringing children into it, even if they were hypothetical in my example...
That was bang out of order of me.

I’m glad yours are doing well.

It's quite alright. Im in complete agreement with you, no one of any sex should have to deal with unwanted attention. Thank you for your kind words.
