He has rolled back EPA regulations, expanded civil forfeiture, is just about to destroy net nutrality and is easing regulations so buisnesses can take a bigger percentage of server tips....

Maybe in a year Alabama will put up a real conservative and not a social conservative. Maybe his extreme views helped him loose as well. Alabama isn't exactly doing great with republicans at the helm. So they may want to try something different.

And they need higher taxes they haven't paid their bills in a long long time.

Identity politics are the worst. Those in power have really kicked partisanship into a whole new gear over the past few years with their propaganda and people seem to be more than happy to eat it up like a buffet.

OP, I hope you and others begin to see how badly you've been/are being played by Trump and the media at some point. There are plenty of other parties in America, thus plenty of alternatives. I'm a proud libertarian. You aren't required to be a sheep and only vote for Dems or Republicans.

There were plenty of candidates with honor and human decency. Trump and Clinton didn't qualify.

Now lets look forward and see how they're spending money now.

Throwing money at a problem hasn't solved educational issues, the war on poverty, the war on drugs.

I don't see how anyone can justify raising taxes when they can't even account for how the money is being spent.

It may cause voters to think twice next primary about the character of the conservative they pit forth. Nothing wrong being religious, but let's focus on the mess the state is in educationaly, medically (health), budget needing federal support on a major scale, widespread poverty, crime, etc..

Bogging down in gay marriage and bathroom traps is exactly what Alabama doesn't need to invite investment in the state.
