Visiting Europe is like time traveling into the future, and then visiting 3rd world countries reminds you more of places inside the USA. It's pretty depressing.
Then again, liberals and immigrants living in "coastal elite" cities in blue states are doing the most international traveling to understand and see this first hand.
If the Hunger Games were real, Alabama would be the poorest district and send someone like Roy Moore for tribute.
I wonder ... if cutting taxes and following the GOP-Republican-conservative model works so well, why are there zero Fortune 500 companies flocking to Alabama, Mississippi and Kansas? Zero taxes and regulation should equal infinite economic growth, right? Isn't that conservative logic?
I hope Alabaman's enjoy their hookworm infestations, it's been known to cause mental slowness and lethargy.
EDIT: OK, maybe ONE Fortune 500 business is HQ in Alabama, Region's Bank.
No that is the mantra of one Thomas Malthus and his relative Darwin.

The UN said poverty. The trump cult should get a dictionary and look up the meaning. Sick and hungry people don’t have resources. If they were animals, they would be dead by now. Yes, I know that is the preferred answer for certain Americans.

Democrats had a super-majority in congress the last two years of the Bush administration. There is not one piece of legislation they wanted that they could not have passed. There is not one piece of legislation that passed that could not have been blocked had they wanted to. The democrats had veto proof power - AND DID NOTHING.
Oh yeah, believe me, Bush would have vetoed anything they put forward, and you know it.

Ummm....thats what a super majority is - its enough votes to overturn a veto = veto proof power.

Lieberman and the senator from Arkansas, the two scum bags who stopped the public option in 2010, and other blue dog democrats would have voted with Bush
You don’t know much about politics, my friend
