WTF?

You exchange it for money first.

It's a pretty good investment, if your initial is disposable.

Bit coin is pixie dust money.

At least our pixie dust dollar bill is backed to provide stable ish value.

Maybe we should start a bit coin religion because it's all based on faith.

Exactly...

How do we get in the middle of this crypto thing?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if it's not in your physical possession, it can vanish...
Gold and Silver too.

Greedy people? I've invested in altcoins so that makes me greedy? Lot's of people upset because they didn't get in...the intent of bitcoin was to have everyone be able to be control of their money while not having to get permission from banks to take out your own money...

I believe it is a proving ground to see what can happen when the people want something to exist.

Could you explain what this “something”!is?

May I interject??..a cashless society free of govt interference.

You want a cashless society where your EVERY transaction, even the 20 bucks your buddy lent you, is tracked and recorded?

Please tell me you haven't had your coffee yet....

If it was a social engineering attack there is nothing sophisticated about it.

What would happen if a bitcoin miner used an illegal non sequential algorithm to earn their bitcoins?
Has all the ear markings of a mining hack, but they will never publish the true story I'm sure of that.

Not only that, but iirc bitpay has a card that works as a visa card, using bitcoin. If you have bitcoin in your wallet, you can use this like a visa card. I can't apply for one in Australia it seems, so don't know, but saw it on a vendors checkout as an option, a fairly large online vendor here too.

That person screams to me, one of those people who never got in and now rules it all a stupid joke, as they wipe the tears of regret away from their eyes, ruing the day they never got into btc.

Cryptocurrencies are FAR safer than traditional currencies. Do you have any idea how much money is lost every year to hackers and scammers? Anyone putting this down as some huge drawback of cryptocurrencies is simply ignorant.

lmao 64 million.

The banks are robbing you to the tune of 64 million dollars A MINUTE with inflation.

Saying this hack is something related to falsity of BTC is just off base. This could have happened (And does) with regular bank accounts for people.

Bitcoin is here to stay.
