It all started out for Charles fairly innocently, he was listening to music that contained positive messages. He was rating his happiness level on a scale of 1-10 for each song and filing each song accordingly.
"Wow this is such an effective way to boost my mood he thought, perhaps I could help other people?".
Turns out he was wrong. Music does not contain messages of any kind. What he needed was anti-psychotic medication to prevent him from hearing messages in music.

What he did next shocked his friends and family, he stopped taking the anti-psychotic medication because he truely believed that some music did contain positive messages. He also didn't like the way medication made him feel.

He was completely delusional and he would only proove it further every time he stopped taking his anti-psychotic medication. It was as if he entered a psychotic state when he stopped taking anti-psychotics. This would be used as evidence that he needed to take anti-psychotics.

Charles didn't really care however. He had his music and it would make him happy. He even started training in different spiritual practices and praying to god because they seemed to help him. He was completely delusional.

It's shocking to see that some people like Charles refuse to follow the basic instructions provided to them by their doctor.
