A couple things struck me as odd a few days ago and my first thought coincidence? Maybe

The first was Trump talking to the coast guard where he said, while talking about our selling arms to our allies but not giving them this the best that 'sometimes allies can turn on you, you're going to find that out later' (comment paraphrased) It is between the 5 and 6 minute mark in the video. (tried 4 times to post the vid but failed.)

you tube

Then Wikileaks posted this 30 sec vid a few days later. I must say it was chilling. Wikileaks has frequently responded to Trumps comments sometimes in cryptic ways.

the two of these were the coincidence I was wondering about. Who would be the ally that turned on us? Could only think of Germany or Israel. But couldn't be Israel...we have always bent our knees to this country. They depend on us. Germany would be foolish.

Then Trump came out with the news of our moving the American Embassy to Jerusalem. I personally was concerned because of the storm it would cause in the middle east. Headlines today seem to moderate the stance.

President Donald Trump told Arab and Israeli leaders on Tuesday that he’ll make good on a campaign promise to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel but a person familiar with his decision said he’ll sign a waiver delaying the move of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.

Reports that Trump would unilaterally declare Jerusalem to be the capital and begin moving the embassy there fueled warnings from Middle East and European leaders that it would undermine peace efforts and potentially generate protests across the region. The president is “pretty solid in his thinking” on the issue and will announce his decision Wednesday, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said.

Today I learned that Jared Kushner has been negotiating with SA on Palestinian statehood. He is also the US envoy to Palestine

The central goal of the negotiations, as described by two people with knowledge of the talks, is for an historic agreement featuring the creation of a Palestinian state or territory backed financially by a number of countries including Saudi Arabia, which could put tens of billions of dollars toward the effort.

So I am wondering if Trump is trying to get a Palestinian State in return for Jerusalem going to Israel. Seems like something neither would agree to especially with Jerusalem a holy city for Islam and the fact Israel wants it all. Don't know if Saudi is negotiating with both entities as well.

Would we ever draw financial or military support for Israel? I think not though I don't believe they actually need it.

Thoughts ATS. Perhaps I am making connections where none exist. All just came out so close together.

I wonder exactly what weapons Trump's administration sold SA recently. Given the rising tensions (more than usual) in SA, it does bear investigating.

I've been watching this for doom pornish reasons. There is war before the Psalm 83 war that is theorized to take place. It is principally a war of the Arab region - between Sunni and Shi'a, SA + allies and Iran + proxies, and moving the embassy to Jerusalem with the disposition of things as they are would likely be the match to the tinder to set it off.

How accurate that theory is ... I don't know, but everything has lined up to support it so far.

Suspect we are giving them the same quality weapons as Israel depending on what they ask for considering Saudi's were originally Hebrews who adopted Islam in the 15th century as I recall.
Selling weapons promotes war period. But MIC loves that

Had to look that up. As a former Christian from age 10 to my 40's, I have to say I have never understood a 'god' who raised some people above others and advocated killing. That said, it does seem to have some relevance.

It's the Elam war.

Basically the theory I've been watching is that we are finally seeing the culmination of the family dysfunction in Abraham's House.

First between the the descendants of Abraham's various women, and then on down to Isaac's sons, Jacob and Esau.

Yes, I agree, especially for us in the west. Yet this is the very thing many middle eastern countries face every day. That was my thoughts after the horror of viewing the vid. My horror was that it made it very real as a US or western event.

Yes, I would agree with that. Seems there is some quote that said if israel didn't fulfill or do as instructed that the legacy would go to Ishmael, who is thought to be the father of Arabs. please correct if wrong or wrongly worded.

No, that's correct. Ishmael is believed to be the father of the Arabs, but there are also peoples there who are descended from a third woman and Abraham (I think). They are different than either Isaac's line and Ishmael's, and then there is the split between the descendants of Isaac - the lines of Jacob and Esau (Esau was tricked out of his birthright by Jacob, and his descendants also live in the region).

the Additional 'Embassy' in Jerusalem will Not be in the Old City...in my opinion...

Trump will start with 2 active Embassies, in the working capitol Tel Aviv and the proposed new Embassy annex somewhere in the burbs/adjoining metro area of Jerusalem proper... which will satisfy the Israeli people/gov't and the passions of the Arabs/Turks/Persians/Sunni-Shia communities

Trump will not insist the new Embassy Annex in Jerusalem signifies that the USA unilaterally declares the World-Heritage City as the new Israeli Capitol~~ indeed, POTUS Trump will point out that the new Embassy Annex will be a functional part of helping establish the 'Palestine State' central core of government in the City of Jerusalem
(even as he 'Trump' downplays the presence of Israeli status in Jerusalem)

as far as the two allies that will fall-away from the USA... Turkey is Tops on my guess list, with Germany as a close 2nd
