It's more of the "free speech is OK as long as I agree with what is said" thought process.

Many lame things are said but I don't want a group to determine what are lame because the group may well be lame also.

Of course FB is private so they can do as they please. How long before people demand public speech filtering. We are getting there with the PC stuff.
