I have studied the turmoils John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, J.P. Morgan (Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison) went through and was wondering if there is a way to generate new continuous power limiting waste that was safe for the environment what would be the best direction to go?
Is it best to contact the Gov. or some existing power company/corp. for development of said project?

It is a new kind of energy generating turbine system that can be retrofitted into the existing powergrids is all 1 can share until patented.

I know some feel government are not to be trusted and some feel big business is over corrupt.
So what would you recommend?

Data collected so far from thread on what can or should be done once the patent drawings are complete and possible prototype.

Make a youtube video proving it works.

Before applying for a patent though, make a copy of your invention along with any schematics and place in a sealed envelope and post it to yourself. Never open this envelope as you might need it in a court of law in the future.

Get a patent attorney.

Get a patent attorney NDA.

Consider treachery and deceit with those encountered. Or the cut throat mentality. Noted

Consider visionaries.

As of now I will continue to mentally evaluate the project for issues and get the drawings made for patent.
I will keep this thread in mind and if possible share or update on progress made.

Hmm that bit I mentioned about posting an envelope to yourself was actually good practice in Britain back in the day in regards to the music industry and original ideas being ripped off left right and centre. But the point was you need some way of proving you are the original inventor if you are going to bring it to market, before applying for a patent even, perhaps you can do it digitally these days. But make sure you look into copyright laws before you do anything else. The battle of who did what first with the pioneers of electrical engineering is still a contended issue, as you've pointed out.

But I suppose the real question here is, how much of a game changer your invention is? If it's a big one you will have to tread very carefully indeed.

Create a Manhattan type government research project to develop the technology. And then license the technology to any private company willing to build and market products based on the technology.

I am really keen on LFTR nuclear reactors. The science is sound. And Thorium is as abundant and easy to mine as lead.

We could have commercial level LFTR technology if the political will were there. The coolest thing about LFTR reactors is they overheat they shut themselves off without human interaction.

None of the above springs to mind recommendation wise.

To be honest, through they really is not much of a difference aside from the dog and pony show that the democratic process has always been.

Government and big business go hand in hand really.

It will be difficult---you'll need to talk to many people before if at all anybody is interested. You'd first do well by talking to university faculty.

I would need a group of engineers NDA approved to help brainstorm the actual components and technology designs and provide survey data.
All participants paid percentage of project to work together to generate the best outcomes.
It could power the world.

The engineers would quickly explain through problem solving the best parts needed. How best to approach where locating of the energy generating structures should be. Confirm how safe these devices would be environmentally. And estimate the electrical energy input output numbers efficiently.

Structures are enclosed within recycled materials or plastics to increase energy production.

These projects would generate various kinds of jobs from engineering to constructing. The correct handlers could in turn generate various jobs for various global economies.
If the idea was released/sold for example to the Pentagon for evaluation then tested and passed, what ever government that took over from that point would then generate new jobs for its economy and potentially power the world.

Engineering required to assist the drawings to build a underwater system that follows lower current flows. Geological mapping of the sea floor overlayed with current flows diagrams and various sea area pressures to help best locate the project and it's components required.
Calculation of the under sea pressure at certain areas where components of the project would sit, in order to know what materials and designs would be best used at various sea levels to somewhat house the components under extreme sea pressure and cold temps?
It won't heat the seas🤔
The prototype presentation would show the project the components the areas the components and project can be placed.
Engineering outlook and assessment of projected power generated by said project and materials to be used all listed in a materials list for cost estimating.
The 3D animation would show the project it's components and deep sea current flows as well.

Input from CAD company

So to reference your project and make relevant what I explained above, I'm going to speculate a little. I did some quick research on ocean currents and it appears to be a very complex field. Here's one quote: "The currents are generated from the forces acting upon the water like the earth's rotation, the wind, the temperature and salinity differences and the gravitation of the moon." I went on from there and found that there are several different software's that are capable of tracking the currents and their forces. They say it depends on the temperature of the water, where it originated, how acidic it is as well as the mountains that direct the current under water much like the wind we have above. All these things are taken into consideration when tracking currents. There's so much more but just to make the point on currents, I'll move on from here. So you would need an oceanographer who may specialize in geostrophic current analysis to determine the effect the currents would have on your design based on what part of the world it would be located in. All sounds very complex to me. I think as far as the materials being used, this would need a metals specialist. We use plastic specialist now who know more about plastic than anyone else. That's all they do is plastic. They look at the application and how many cycles along with temps and forces it will be looking at and determine a compromise between the life of the product and what consumers are willing to pay. So you'd need an ocean's specialist for current, maybe another engineer for metals to determine it's corrosive's capabilities not to mention how much pressure it would be under. If that wasn't bad enough, being in the ocean and at that depth and corrosive properties involved, you'd also be very heavily regulated by environmental groups. What happens if you're product were to fail? What harmful by-products are being unleashed into the water due to failure or corrosion? So without carrying on there is much more to a product like yours than a small CAD company such as myself is capable or doing. As far as which company would take something like this on? It would be one with lots of capital and lots of liability insurance with a variety of on-board engineers.
