Comrade Sanders Tweeted this earlier today.

Historians will look back on Dec. 1, 2017 and conclude this was one of the great robberies in US history because Republicans are looting the Treasury.

Now I have been uneasy about the tax bill. I don't trust congress has our best interests at heart. They are corrupt, evil, greedy bastards. All of them.

But then I read this little gem from Bernie "I got burned" Sanders.

And it makes me think 2 things.

1. It might actually be a tax cut.

2. Sanders thinks that keeping more of our own money is "robbing the treasury".

Sanders, you aging, Marxist ####head, it is MY money. If I get to keep MORE, then I am not robbing you, you moronic socialist douchebag.

Go #### yourself, you greedy bastard!

It is my money.

You and every other rat bastard in DC live off of OUR MONEY!

Sanders is just another Marxist asshole that wants what others have. Specifically, more of my money!

And before any twinkies get on here and start peeing themselves about taxes, you better be ready to defend the concept that government already spends our money that they already take, wisely!

I know. The implicit assumption that somehow the government has to "pay" for taking less money from the people who earn it always rubs me wrong.

It's the idea that all *our* money is really theirs and they are simply generously deciding how much of *their* money they will allow us to keep.

It's the assumption we are really slaving away all day for them and their government first before our own families.

So, do you hate socialists in a personal way? Or do you just hate Socialism? Socialism is a social construct. No need to fear it or hate it, particularly when you live in a country where it's not relevant. It does the job nicely in some areas.

If you are a socialist, do you think you have a right to what I earn as you need it for yourself?

I mean, I am no fan of "socialists" but, Sanders is definitely NOT a socialist

Sorry cowboy, but that's what these freaks think. They actually believe it's their money to take.

Socialism cannot be a social construct; it's an ideology.

I think the OP hates Sanders. He's a rather poor example of a socialist when he's proven time and time again, that he does not give a flying duck about the middle working class, and is more interested in accumulating wealth for himself and his family.

Did I say I was a socialist? Strawman. No thanks, Ket. Not today. Besides you and I have been having this argument for years. I know how you feel. I don't need to hear it all again.

You have a nice weekend.

btw, I'm not a socialist. I was simply inquiring as to the use of the word 'hate'. Hatred is a strong emotion these days and it's gaining momentum.
I would like to see it stop.

Anyone here ever had your taxes go down?

Asking for a friend.

And no, I generally don't trust anything Congress does.

So what this will actually mean? Who can say. With our luck, it will be the Obamacare of tax packages.

Yes.

Our taxes went down during the Bush years. During those 8 years, our family thrived and the company my husband worked for also expanded and went through the roof successfully. He was well placed at that time to take advantage of both booms - our personal one and the company one.

State taxes have also gone down for us once or twice ... and they've gone up too.

I didn't say you were.

That's is why I asked. Generally, the Marxist thing is from each according to his ability (what I work hard to earn) to each according to his need (you take as you need it). That is how basic socialism works.

All socialist programs are built off that. They take from those who earn to give to those deemed needy in some way.

In order to believe in socialism, you have to believe you have the right to what I earn as you need it.

Funny. I watched as mine steadily rose. And have continued to. I doubt I'm alone in that. But good luck thinking any tax savings will wind up in your pocket.

I hate the ideology that thinks that just because I have something they want, they feel entitled to it.

The problem with socialism is that it gives too much power to the government.

Yeah it may be all rainbows and kittens for a bit, but if I have learned one thing about history, it's that eventually the government that has that said power has and will eff it up. It's human nature. The minute a bad apple steps into power then it all goes to sh*t and the people suffer.
