Tan hair. Much like a deer.
Jumps high from a tree...about 15 foot.
Emits a gut rattling scream.
Runs on all fours at unreal speed.

I should clarify. It jumped from a height of around 12 to 15 foot. The animal itself was around 6 or 7 foot while standing erect. Very heavily built.
I would estimate that it ran at approximately somewhere in the 30 mph range.
It was completely covered in hair. No facial features were distinguishable.
I know one area I will not be squirrel hunting any time soon.

So, it jumped FROM a tall height? Did it jump out of a tree it was climbing then?? It jumped from a height of 12 to 15 feet? Im 6 foot and i know I've jumped from at LEAST twice my height, 12 feet, landing on the ground. Probably higher. I jumped from about 35 or 40 feet off the Savanna train bridge near Stanwood, WA, landing in water.

Or are you saying itjumped from th ground and it got 12 or 15 ft of air?

Or it long jumped 12 to 15 feet in ditance?

It jumped down from that height. Its knees did not bend when it landed.

I live in Washington State and know lots of people who have had encounters, some very scary ones. They are indeed the real thing. Their color of hair is quite varying as well as their height. A relative of mine watched one run up the steep side of a state highway embankment very fast and effortless. That was way up in the mountains near Packwood Wa.
