I sincerely know nothing of “Britain First”.

Then it might have been smart of you to have done a little reading up on them before you supported Trump retweeting their videos.

I did, none of which makes them deserving of the term neo-Nazi, which leads me to believe you’re merely repeating nonsense, and slandering people in the process.

No you didn't!!!

You just literally said on the previous page that...

I sincerely know nothing of “Britain First”.

Why do you call them neo-Nazi? Are they anti-semites? Do they deny the holocaust?

YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THEM..... by your own admission!

Their founders previously were part of the national front, Britain First was just a attempt to try to give the national front a legitimate political platform. Its a pig in a dress.

Paul Golding, their founder was National Front (who yes at times denied the holocaust), he was sent to prison last year!

This Jayda Fransen was EDL and was also arrested last year.

Thomas Mair shouted out "Britain First" as he stabbed Jo Cox

Trump has just retweeted them, supporting Britain First.
I know nothing of these groups, and most Americans prob don’t either. Could you bring some links or imbed some videos that will clear this up for people?
edit on 29-11-2017 by Woodcarver because: (no reason given)

I bet Trump’s retweet results in people calling for him to be banned from the UK.

I don't know about that, but when he does things like this it does result in it becoming reasonable to associate Trump and his base with white nationalist movements.

Not sure why someone would defend that.

White nationalist? According to their Wikipedia, they recognize patriots of all colours.

I said "things like this". This is not the first time Trump has retweeted content from known racists, white nationalists, anti-multiculturalists, etc.

Again, not sure how people can defend this stuff.

Do you think he looks them up and researches who they are?

Of course not.

Do you think ignorance is a valid excuse for retweeting white nationalist/racist/anti-Muslim content to his millions of twitter followers?

- false equivalencies
- perfect non sequiturs
- shapeshifting whataboutisms
- strawmen of all colours

And the classic

- denial to deny ignorance on ATS

Any hits yet?

It beats attempting to make logical arguments and original thoughts...

Trump won by uniting the trolls, racists and rightwing conspiracy crowd.. are you shocked??

The majority of trump supporters think a meme is a rebuttal??!

I’d say it’s prob the only good excuse.

I do, actually. You’re assuming he is retweeting white nationalist content because it comes from a white nationalist.

Do you know what a neo-Nazi is? Or do you just throw around the word whenever you want?

Do you think he looks them up and researches who they are?

Probably not , Trump doesn't like reading or doing research so he probably just blindly posted them as they support his belief.

Uninformed and unbelievable (literally) , just what you want from a president.

Appeal to emotion, especially to idiotic sympathy with idiots. Of course, thanks for the addition!

Eyeopener.

That assumption on your part is completely wrong.

I assume he is rewteeting the content because he agrees with it.

That is even worse than your attempt to claim he was just ignorant of the source.

Yes. If I retweeted a great cobbler recipe originally tweeted by Hitler himself, does that make me a Nazi, or the cobbler worse than others?

It’s called a genetic fallacy.
