NBC announces 'Today' show co-host Matt Lauer fired due to inappropriate sexual behavior at work

Nope, it's Matt Lauer, and I guarantee it's not the first time. I remember I read the story when the whole Ann Curry thing went down. Matt was married, but would not leave a young blonde lady in the office alone. It was at the point where he was obsessed with her like a stalker. She fended off his many advances, but in the end she finally gave in, but broke it off quick. We are talking maybe 10 - 15 years ago.

NBC was careful with their language. They said it was the first formal complaint. They knew there were problems with him, but as long as there was nothing on paper they didn't care.

Apparently voters feel that a 32 year-old man being attracted to a 14 year-old girl, in Alabama, in 1979, is NOT who Roy Moore is TODAY...or in recent years, for that matter.

The accuser has also been pretty thoroughly discredited. She/her lawyer won't release the yearbook for analysis, which means it's probably fake. Her stepson and her boyfriend from back then have called her a liar. Waitresses at the restaurant where she supposedly worked say she didn't work there, and Judge Moore never went there. And she had social media posts supporting Moore's opponent, which she quickly deleted after people found them. In short, there's good reason to dismiss the accusation as just a political smear.

Yet more evidence all the anti-Trump crapola from the left wing media is fake, hypocritical outrage.

I bet Lauer went and pinched colleague's asses literally mins after segments of Trump bashing.

...and the hypocrites, they are falling like dominoes.

The only reason NBC is in that predicament is because:

1.) The current climate we're in where everyone rushes to share everyone else's dirty laundry despite more than likely having their own.

2.) NBC has likely covered for Lauer much like PBS, Bloomberg, et. al., more than likely covered for Rose, and then they deserve to get slapped by the scandal, not get out ahead of it and virtue signal as if they're the good guys.

Yep, there is that, but as a guy who called into the local talk station yesterday pointed out: he was wrongfully accused and went through the process of legal discovery. In the end, he kept his job legally but still ended up having to leave because his reputation was already destroyed just by the allegations and mere process even after over a decade of good service.
