There's the thing. FE's etc have an unshakeable belief, or faith, in what they propound and refuse to be swayed in that belief by things like proveable facts, science and logic.

It's like a religion to them and we all know that there is no point arguing with a religious fanatic, of whatever persuasion.

It's called confirmation bias.

NASA is the organisation which has displayed images of a spherical earth. Who else has claimed to be high enough up?

JAXA Japans space program


...... they all must be in on it.
Gosh it must be expensive and difficult to coordinate all these countries into faking their space programs especially since the us is not always on the warmest terms with some of these countries.

I just learned that some flat earthers believe the moon gives of it's own light that make things colder. So yes the deeper down the rabbit hole you go the worse it gets.

We'd still be flying the same airline routes and walking and driving and living. It would mean not much would change that I can see Other than they get to say they are right, now, theres no honour in that though.

Given theres no scientific backup whatsoever unless you consider A LOGO ( the UN ) scientific proof and most believers fail to look at the astronomy of the situation... as in constellations are upside down and inverted so to speak on the other side of the axis... - that does my naana in in a good way because I am an West Aussie Astronomer now on the East Coast USA - My Internal Compass is all over the shop and you dont want to go camping with me lol... not here.. Stralya no worries. Day Night I can get us there by the sun and stars... I know what time is back home...

There is a world of stupid out there. On the same YouTube page as one of those videos posted on this thread is one titled "Planes don't fly - they levitate".

Judging by the comments there are people who believe this too.

These vids are only interesting in that they evidence just how wilfully stupid and ignorant people can be.

The last video I posted states that it is easy to call people stupid or other names - but if you actually compare the two models it is not so easy to dismiss.
Everyone is indoctrinated - told what is 'fact' - it is difficult for most to even consider that they may have been lied to.

Flat earth models are really easy to dismiss because the Earth isn’t flat.

You can prove this with
-A theodolite
-North Star and Southern Cross in the Northern vs Southern Hemispheres
-The stick and shadow experiment
