No... wingnut flat earthers say theres no curve...

Ye know... people that don't actually know what the word "science" actually means

People that learn everything they know from... youtube

yeah yeah , only you know everything .

always glad to correct you...

its not that i know everything... but clearly that you know nothing

Can't fix stupid bud

let me know when you find the curve .

I have knowledge of basic physics and astronomy. I have seen lunar and solar eclipses and I've travelled all over this globe of ours. You on the other hand are now screaming what you think are witticisms as you try to troll people. No thanks.

only you have those qualities ?

ok.

Nah, pretty sure you're just complicating an already perfect system to match your twisted world view.

eta: and it comes across a bit cult like....

Wow, ATS is now the lowest common denominator...
Check out the moon eclipse in two days... You can actually see the curvature.

Also you can look at satellites going across the sky reflecting the sun, which is on the other side.

Please stop spreading your complete ignorance, people have shown you in so many ways you are wrong.

you look at skies and measure the earth's curve ?

wow !!!

Can you look at my horse and measure the goats beard please ?

Dude you have proved you can not logically understand many of the things presented to you.
Absolutely no point is there?.

again, clearly you haven't been paying attention...

Just go outside tonight and take a gander at the moon...

PooF!!

Amazing eh... a curve!!!

yet another subject you admitted you don't understand though...

Anyone have a spoon?

No, I look at satellites in orbit.
Measure their speed.
Look at flight paths.
No need for visual curvature.

You can calculate exactly where they will appear at any given moment.

Spin? Try foucault pendulum....

Try science, it really helps... But, I'm sure you're comeback is not rooted in science, but rather in quasi science and religion.

Also, would you be so kind to explain season's in your model?

It seems impossible...

Also for planes, trains, and cars, check out relativity... It's kinda popular....

no one in this thread has , no one ever does except thru fisheye lenses and cgi sh1te.

I prefer to look at the object I am measuring .

thank you anyhow.

No one in this thread has seen North Korea either...

Guess its not there...

If you would like to look at artificial satellites please look at this very instructional video from an amateur astronomere.
With easy mathematical equations, you will be able to make your own calculations to prove direction, spin and curvature. With your own eyes.

Look I understand that it sounds outrages but it is the truth ; i have never seen the curve .

I have been as high as almost 40000 ft and have never seen the curve .

I am not going to lie to myself .

In fact I was just conversing with my nephew who flies boeing passenger jets for living and he also never saw the curve except when sun is rising and setting .

Make of that what you will but remember , i don't subscribe to flat earth or concave earth or hollow earth either .

I am simply stating the fact that i can't observe , detect or measure the curve anywhere.

I get insulted for stating this little fact and to boot get threatened with deletion of my posts .

I would love to debate with someone who actually saw the curve with their own eyes but so far all i get is ; appeal to authority , cgi and ridicule .

I also get trolled and flamed for speaking like this too .

I have been here on ATS for over a decade and i laughed at many flatearthers or lord steven too .

untill I actually went out and attempted to observe the curve , measure the curve .

I am still laughing but to my own blindness that i lived with all these years .

cheers.

I have seen the border from the South, there was land on the other side.

It might be north Korea, we can not be sure because I wasn't really there, only looking.

Look my friend , i have double masters believe me i know all this already .

I knew it since high school days .

One day I went out to measure the curve on the seas , as earth is mostly water and i couldn't .

Please let me know if you know a way to measure the curve by direct observation .

Ships aren't really disappearing over the curve ; i just had to look with zoom and to my asthonisment the ships came into view .

Ever seen a lunar eclipse? Then you've seen the curve. Ever stuck a stick in the ground, asked a friend in another country to do the same and then ring them and ask what the angle of the shadow is? Then you've seen the curve. Ever stared at a departing ship from sea level and then again from a higher elevation? Then you've seen the curve. Ever seen the stars shift in the night sky? Then you've seen the curve, or rather you've seen the rotation. Ever travelled from one hemisphere to an other, or flown to the other side of the planet and then noticed that you have to reset your watch? Then you've seen the curve.
All of these things are practical ways to observe the curve. There are more. Why not try some instead of sticking your fingers in your ears so you can scream real loud and then only unplug them after a mod told you to stop being so childish?

You do not have to look at the actual curve to know it's there.

There are many ways to calculate both spin and curvature, but if you choose to only acknowledge what you can see then you are limiting yourself.

Atoms, quantum mechanics, mobile phone display pixels, me and everyone you can not see, but still communicate with.

Good luck with your further exploration of the world and the universe. It is much more fantastic than anyone can imagine.
