All they do these day is attempt to obfuscate the truth after it has gone viral, damage control is the name of the game these days!

Yeah, hence the push to end net neutrality so that TPTB can completely censor the internet and simply prevent people from seeing anything contrary to the official narrative.
The internet is the last bastion of freedom, and it's under attack like never before.

You are absolutely correct about the my friend, I could not possibly agree more!

The problem for TPTB is that the internet represents a collective hive that will unleash hell upon them if they get this accomplished. There are savants all over the world that can do real damage to these people simply through hacking.

The internet shall remain free!

The CIA will know that they have completed their goals when everything the American people believe is a lie. Somebody important said that once...

You're forgetting the CIA's ties to google, amazon, and FB. So it appears the operation has gone digital.

That remark is attributed to William Casey. When everything the American people believe is false, we will judge the success of our misinformation efforts.

Mockingbird on steroids is what we have today. The mainstream media is wholly owned by corporations that work hand in hand with the CIA, and platforms like Facebook, Google, and a host of others assist the propagandists in really fine-tuning the system.

In this Age Of Snowden, the public perception is manipulated 24/7, and there must be a dossier on every person alive in this country, except maybe for those old timers with no computer and no smart phone.

It or a form of still exists. It's also, of course, not limited to the US doing this kind of operation. One might say these operations are even worse now, such as bought and paid for by lobbyist and other agenda control grid players.

9/11 was/is a sure tell sign that "Operation Mockingbird" is in full force.
www.globalresearch.ca...

Operation MOCKINGBIRD — The CIA begins recruiting American news organizations and journalists to become spies and disseminators of propaganda.

The effort is headed by Frank Wisner, Allan Dulles, Richard Helms and Philip Graham. Graham is publisher of The Washington Post, which becomes a major CIA player.

Eventually, the CIA’s media assets will include ABC, NBC, CBS, Time, Newsweek, Associated Press, United Press International, Reuters, Hearst Newspapers, Scripps-Howard, Copley News Service and more.

By the CIA’s own admission, at least 25 organizations and 400 journalists will become CIA assets.

Fast forward to now and think it is safe to say that Google, FB, Twitter, and other well known Media Outlets, are CIA assets on the list today.

It not only sings, it's like a gospel choir being led by Whoopi Goldberg!

Except the MSM gospel is not nice at all. In fact its roots are clearly diabolical, in this day & age.

Here is one example of how it works.

4 sep. 2012 - The death of Reverend Sun Myung Moon hopefully ends one of the strangest chapters in U.S. security industrial complex history.

freepress.org...
Moon founded the Washington Times newspaper in 1982 and the Washington Post went out of its way to avoid any mention of the "the dark side of the Moon" upon his death Monday, September 3, 2012 at age 92.

When George W. Bush faltered in New Hampshire in early 2000, it was Moon's shadowy cultish right-wing network that came to its rescue in South Carolina.

Moon's forces helped turn a certain primary defeat into a double-digit victory by spreading Moonies, his zombie-like followers, throughout the state. As the Washington Post reported, "An array of conservative groups have come to reinforce Bush's message with phone banks, radio ads, and mailings of their own."

In 1997, Congressman Donald Fraser launched an investigation into Moon's cult.

The 444-page Congressional report alleged Moonie involvement with bribery, bank fraud, illegal kickbacks, and arms sales. The report revealed that Moon's 20,000-member Unification Church was a creation of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA).

The Moonies were working with KCIA Director Kim Chong Phil as a political instrument to influence U.S. foreign policy. The U.S. CIA was the agency primarily responsible for founding the KCIA after WW II.

The Moon organization has denied any link with the U.S. intelligence agencies or the Korean government.

In the 1970s, Moon earned notoriety in the so-called Koreagate scandal.

Female followers of the Unification Church were accused of entertaining and horizontally lobbying U.S. Congressmen while keeping confidential files on those they "lobbied" at a Washington Hilton Hotel suite rented by the Moonies. The U.S. Senate held hearings concerning Moon's "programmatic bribery of U.S. officials, journalists, and others as part of an operation by the KCIA to influence the course of U.S. foreign policy."

The Fraser report documented that Moon was "paid by the KCIA to stage demonstrations at the United Nations and run pro-South Korean propaganda campaigns."

The Congressional investigator for the Fraser report said, "We determine that their (Moonies') primary interest, at least in the U.S. at that time, was not religion at all but was political, it was an attempt to gain power, influence and authority."

www.irishtimes.com...
Rev Moon bought the Banco de Credito in 1996, in nearby Uruguay, the banking hub of Latin America.

On the day of opening under its new ownership, the Uruguayan bank employees' union blew the whistle on a suspected money-laundering scheme after a procession of 4,200 Japanese women, all Moon-followers, allegedly deposited up to $25,000 each in cash.

By the end of business that day, $80 million had been deposited.

Rev Moon's first involvement in the continent came during the late 1970s when his organization donated the first $100,000 to Oliver North's Nicaraguan Freedom Fund.

The religious leader was implicated in many of the so-called Contra scandals during the Reagan-Bush administration.

national Senator Domingo Laino "There are two principal branches to Moon's interest in Paraguay," he said, "control of the largest fresh drinking water source in the world and control of the narcotics business", which is so prevalent in this area. "President Lula told me that Brazil took serious measures to curb Moon a few years back as it became evident that he was buying up the border between our two countries," said the senator.

Allegations from local law enforcement officials support this claim. The so-called Dr Montiel, Paraguay's drugs tsar from 1976-89, said: "The fact that they came and bought in Chaco and on both sides of the Brazilian border is very telling. It is an enormously strategic point in both the narcotics and arms trades and indeed the available intelligence clearly shows that the Moon sect is involved in both these enterprises."

Pretty relevant video right here.

Even after all these years, Operation Mockingbird, the CIA program to infiltrate and control U.S. journalism, is still not well known. Officially, Mockingbird ended in the 1970s after it was exposed. In reality, control over our establishment media is deeper and more insidious than ever before.
