ALA.NI and Her Breathtaking Voice

Hi to all my fellow ATS music lovers!

Have you heard ALA.NI's sonorous, haunting voice? She really has something special, and if you haven't heard it yet I imagine you are in for a treat.

I usually spend some minimal time digging up some facts about an artist, and was about to here- until I heard her sing and went to her website which is so simple that I thought I had better let the music speak for itself.

The beautiful actress, Carla Bruni is the woman in question? I never knew she sang.

I just bought her album on Amazon "You and I".

I need this right now. I've been cursing away and worn myself out with all the bad news lately of what has been happening in my life. Her voice is very soothing, isn't it.

Yes, you and this music came along just at the right time. The whole album is as good. She is up there with Billie Holiday, no doubt. I much prefer mature singers. They have all the technique. This voice is ethereal.

I shall always remember this little experience and I will be listening to this artist from now on and supporting them.

I owe that to you. I linked to your thread in a comment I just wrote on her music profile on Facebook. Artists like that sort of thing; I know I would.
