I agree, they are very relevant. There are quite alot of events going on relevant to certain chapters and books of the bible. But as we all know, the majority of the human race will have their hearts and soul hardened to the truth and will only admit to it when upon it is too late and their demise is upon them.

When # written thousands of years ago starts to happen in separate events all over the world, I would say its time to find high ground and start bulking up on supplies.

The bible is a mix of historical text and science manual that has been intentionally mistranslated to sound mystical and fictional to hide the fact that this is a repeating cycle that humans of the Earth seem to go through every so often.

It is not their theory - it is prophecies listed in the Bible. No one knows what/who the beast will be or it's image, but AI could be a possibility! Even Elon Musk and Stephen Hawking are warning about the dangers of AI to humankind and I am sure they know what they are talking about. AI devlopers and others are predicting that robots will become smarter than humans by 2047.

People fear change, they also fear what they don't understand. AI is all around you and has been for years:

Google Home
Smart TV's
Telephone banking
Robot grass cutters and vacuum cleaners

not to mention intelligent algorithms which manage, sort, sift and monetise your data held by any number of companies.

The Turing test was passed in 2014 (www.bbc.co.uk...), this was a public test, I can almost guarantee that it was passed many years before in private by other organisations.

It's also worth mentioning Bitcoin as there where a few posts about this too, Bitcoin will challenge conventional currencies, this is not an attack its an evolution. Conventional currencies are controlled by banks and governments; Bitcoin is controlled by the blockchain, the blockchain is incorruptible, wields no power, has no axe to grind and is politically neutral.

What you're describing is not AI. They are pre-programmed tools that cannot operate outside their designed function.

Bitcoin has turned into a pump and dump scam. The price will become ridiculously inflated and governments will outlaw cryptocurrencies. All the major insiders will already have sold off their stock and you're going to be stuck with virtual garbage. It's really sad because it's a brilliant idea that had potential.

The fact that they can't operate outside their designed function doesn't make them any less artificially intelligent, assessing environmental, physical, audible and visual queues and making a decision on next steps makes them intelligent, even if the next steps are a finite list, a choice has to be made.

Bitcoin like any currency is open to pump and dump, and like any currency speculator, insiders will hedge. It is overinflated at the moment, there are legitimate reasons for this phenomenon though.

I really don't see how any government can outlaw cryptocurrency, they may try to put a regulation package around it, but its here to stay.

I don't think I agree with that, there's a difference between not fully understanding and being negligent.

Programmers should be adding failsafe, for example, the AI can't amend its core programming, or it can't write other code. if this isn't being done then its negligence. This is the same for everything though, if regulators aren't fitted to gas taps then the result could be catastrophic, they are though.

We do, however, need regulation and centralised quality assurance.

that is the thing alot of these "ai" are writing their own code and the algorithm's are too complex for our scientists to fully grasp as to how they are doing it , its already going beyond what our best minds can figure out in a week for example.

The pure processing power they have to do mass calculations stumps us , so we are behind their curve!
and they are constantly changing their code

once a few of them started doing this the scientists shut them down.
