Full Page Ad Issue

I just experienced something not only odd, based on past experience here, but also very annoying. I did a search, before posting a new thread, and when I returned to what should have been the search page, to navigate elsewhere, I was greeted by a full page ad, really, many ads all on one page, and literally NO WAY to navigate away from it, other than the "back" option on the browser. Literally all of the usual ATS links, headers, etc., were just gone. What gives? Something very weird with that. Never seen that happen in the past and hoping it's some sort of glitch.

Happens to me too, especially as soon as I log out. On the upper right hand of the page, I see a option to close the page,
