I can sense the right humor in the OP.
Anyway, He is always "the guy", or as the OP put it, a "dangerous" man.
He is not dangerous after he became POTUS, he's been dangerous long before that.
He just blends in, or using his own words, knowing how to "swim with the sharks".
If you know how to swim with sharks, you are no less dangerous than sharks.
Everything is intelligence on this planet, even if you put his name before it, trump hotels, trump clubs, trump casinos or trump "towers".
Everything is a cover, universities, train stations, starbucks, walmarts, apples, facebooks...
they are all intelligence agencies, every last one of them.
that's not an analogy, because they ARE.
trump wont be there if he doest know basics.
the word "real estate" is just another meaningless term, same goes to jewel or fashion industries, all just cover.
not so much about what you sell, but where you are in this intelligence network.
when you're at the "right place", the things you sell will sell! that should be obvious.
And if you start your own company, before it makes anything that's worth making, your company will be absorbed into the network without your notice, and good chances are you will become a double agent, willingly or "unwittedly", regardless of what the company appears to the public.
Eey we all know he's not the King, although he got enough good reasons acting that way
Trump is the right guy at the right place at the right time, really that's it.

Boycotting the NFl was never about what they did or said about Trump. It was about the flag and the anthem.

*BZZZZZ* Wrong answer. The protests were not not about the flag or anthem. Trump started that little lie.

That's true, because the players have no idea what they are protesting or how it relates to the anthem. It's a breathtaking display of emotional ignorance from the players involved.

They are protesting the systematic racism that

...that does not exist ...

has resulted in police shooting innocent black children and not facing any consequences.

...no systemic racism means that the police are shooting those children for other reasons...

...and the police have nothing to do with the national anthem so the players are protesting the wrong thing (ergo their ignorance)...

Trump approves of this racism.

Hard to approve of something that doesn't exist...

He was actually sued because he would not sell condos to African Americans.

Actually they didn't rent to people who were on welfare, no matter their skin color. Equal treatment.

The only breathtaking display of ignorance is on the part of the racists who refuse to understand the real issues.

Stop talking about yourself like that, it's bad for self esteem.

I am appalled by how Trump has made hatred "cool."

One of the greatest societal coups of the modern left is that 'disagreement' has been magically transformed into 'hatred'. But I guess that when your engines are powered by venom and bile you need to get your fuel from somewhere, huh?

No they aren't. If they were, then that would be the campaign.

You can't tell me that in a league full of Bachelor's degrees in various business disciplines, no one was smart enough to figure out how to market a campaign supporting their protest.

It's called "Black Lives Matter." I' m surprised you've never heard of it. Of course, there are a lot of morons who think that is the name of a terrorist organization.

BLM is a radical organization that was started by a lie.

There was a stated purpose, but Trump's tweets sucked up all the publicity. Not for the first time.

The best analogy I have heard:

Trump's tweets are a laser pointer, and the social blogosphere are kittens.

Stated when? Where? You mean these multimillionaires couldn't put together enough capital to put out some marketing collateral around their movement that it crossed my field of vision at least once? I follow all sorts of liberal posters and groups in social media, and never saw a single word put out about the purpose of the protests beyond a couple of players giving post game interviews. Thats it.

So the protest, for all the good it did and all the effort that went into it, could have never happened and would have had the same impact on that which they were protesting. I wish I could say it wasn't due to lack of effort....but that would be false.

You can just blame Donald Trump for everything, man. If the simple act of him putting out a tweet can completely drown out the movement of over 100 millionaires who already have the medias undivided attention...

Guess who the topic is about? You got it. Trump. This guy has an army of followers that are willing to go out there and defend this man to the end. Even Reagan didn't have the devotion this guy does and he was one that could be seen as the be all.

Trump puts a target on something, say the NFL, BOYCOTT. Mila Kunis says something about Trump BOYCOTT Jack Daniels because she's their spokesperson. Don't criticize the Messiah or you will feel the wrath of his minions. In a way it IS stifling ones free speech. You can say what you want without fear of repercussion unless it's something against Donnie. McDonalds may be immune from this though. Still need those Big Macs.

No thought goes into this. Just attack. Does it matter that there are Trump supporters in the NFL? Does it matter that a boycott could hurt employees of these companies that also happen to be Trump voters? Nope. Just go after those that dare speak against Trump. That's frickin scary.

Scarier yet, I saw people HERE on ATS yesterday advocating or at the least, condoning assault. That's not such a big step from hurting your bottom line. Well that's where we are at now. Never saw it before. Don't think Trump is the most dangerous president? Wait another year and we'll see. Once even disagreeing with the president can harm you either financially or physically you may as well just call him Caesar.

You know makes a great warlord or leader...they are completely independent, and have done all in their power from nothing but just a little idea with a vendetta behind it to give the beef some extra flavour. Trump never had to do anything by himself, now is that something to be afraid of? I think not.

When ever, in human history, did money ever make the man? Now I might be nothing but a wee humble peasant asking for more, no different then what they ask for but what I say, scares men who believe themselves to be Gods, when they themselves don't believe in God.

Funnily enough I agree with the OP.

Exelent thread by the way, I kind of feel like I should have wrote it myself

I have wrote before about how I think Trump is a massive risk to global security, if he makes it to the end of his stint as president without starting a major war then consider me amazed!

Yea, good. He still has not utilized this to the full potential. When he begins to target the real people, board members and CEO's and other political snakes out there, the real fumigation can begin. He need only say the word

Take a civics class. The President can submit legislation to Congress. They have pretty much stopped bothering lately because Congress has become so ineffective. Who starred that misinformed post?
