Pretty soon everyone who has any wealth, influence. or power will be having allegations against them. This is going to cause a lot of problems in the slow progression of reversing this kind of behavior, an overshoot like this will lead to a reduction in the laws that protect people from this kind of stuff. It will bring down the wrath of the powerful people in the country on the people, they will get legislation revoked that supports the abused people.

Look what the prohibition brought, it brought a wide swing in the other direction because people did not want to fear going to jail for having alcohol in the house. Slow and steady progression in the right direction is needed. There is way too much of this happening to very influential people, most probably kind of true, things are different thirty years ago, this was considered normal behavior, except going after young girls. You can't go back and change the rules of society retroactively.

Remember, sixty years ago, Many girls were already married by the time they were eighteen years old. Some were married when they were sixteen. Not all of these marriages were shotgun weddings either. Consensus of the day is and always will change one way or the other. You cannot charge a person for a crime that was not considered illegal when it was done.

There will be a deluge of these from congress now.
Hollywood, as well.
Many will lose their jobs and positions.
Legislation will result...

...and then it will all fade away.
