He changed his mind about suing his accusers, and also about working to get Hillary behind bars. IMO, Donald Trump intentionally shies away from punishing women. Maybe because he has a wife/daughter.

Maybe an apology to his constituents--or children--is in order, but from what's been reported I wouldn't publicly apologize. I might say, "Whoops" with a sheepish grin on my face but that's about it.
