I don't see anything carefully crafted, Snowden is able to see most current events will have serious consequences eventually.
Since the interviewer had to ask about Trump, he did think that Trump was an unhelpful idiot...primarily because he is an idiot, and probably will spend most of his Presidency in blustery lies. Of course that alone will hurt a lot of people, but ultimately a side issue to what he is concerned about.
So another Trump with properly constituted brain matter would be a real front for the total control of the masses.

In other words, if Trump had brains he would dangerous, as the saying goes...for everybody.

Spy? Yes. Genius? Sure. I would add principled patriot and hero as well.

Intelligence gathering should be intelligent... not unconstitutional and immoral. If we dissolve the rights of our citizens for safety, we won't be safe ... most especially from ourselves.

Snowden did what I'm sure many in the intelligence agencies thought about doing, but didn't have the stones to actually do.

Good for him ... and good for us... his actions will benefit us and even those in the intelligence agencies, ultimately, IF we act on the information he risked his life to reveal.

The people that are really in control, corporations, banking houses and cartels, other financial institutions and mass media networks love Trump and his nonsensical excessive ramblings.

Somewhat takes the heat away from there nefarious activities, plus when it all goes breasts up, which is apt to happen really, Trumps the perfect fall guy and by association a significant percentage of the American people who voted for him.

And that's the real tragedy.

These people make or break credibility and decide the future of nations.

Snowdon may very well be a pawn in there game, but Trump is not much more really so i don't see anyone bowing down to Mr Trump aside of course from his very misguided sycophant supporters.

No, Corporations like Communism for their economic system where workers have no rights but they are still able to own their own means of production.

I support China not for its communist system but for its self interests to tell the NEOCON Globalists to "F" off.

They could be capitalist and I would feel the same since we were sold out.

Keeping in mind that just like the rest of us Snowden is a human being and the facts he revealed pertaining to what to the NSA/CIA and possibly a few other intelligence agencies were getting up to was counterproductive to the privacy of just about everyone on the entire planet.

Absolute power would absolutely corrupt China also.

The one world agenda premise is not a bad idea per-say.

If implemented properly it could promote power sharing across the globe and redistribute power and wealth amongst our respective populations in a lot fairer manner.

Promote and eventually bring about world peace and let us address the larger problems that humanity has staring her in the face.

Allow us to get our act together as one race and colonize/industrialize low earth orbit, the Moon and possibly the rest of our star system in around only a few centuries thus solve or at least address just about any and all of the woes that humanity faces today.

Never happen all the same whilst we follow the same paradigm we have been following since the inception of recorded history.

Fact is its human nature that's the problem, people love power and control and grasp as much as they can get in the very short and limited time that they are on this Earth.

What Snowden pointed out was think about the implications of some off the street grunt having full access to the most sensitive state secrets all being outsourced to for-profit Corporation. A for-profit corporation who by their very charter is obligated by law to provide the greatest possible return of value to the shareholders. So a for-profit corporation is going to sell the most sensitive state secrets to foreign powers or the highest bidders. THAT IS THE STORY HERE. The privatization of the NSA is on par with the Patriot Act as the most harmful thing to happen to our government in 70 years.

Snowden being a Russian or Israel spy is just a smokescreen.

I have heard it talked about that some hackers have programs that fake surf the net just to populate the metadata with fake data so there is no signal to be found of what the person is actually surfing. Right robots with robots!
