I don't believe we should be paying ANY taxes IMO.

I'm sure you could find a few places on the globe where taxes do not exist. After examining those places, I highly doubt you'd want to live there.

This examination, what was involved?

bio probe?

Right so your just making # up now... Good to know.

You asked a stupid question. Try harder next time, hoss.

Let me break it down for you, slamma jamma.

In the post you initially responded to, I said "After examining those places, I highly doubt you'd want to live there."

In other words, once the person I was speaking to examined those places TO WHATEVER EXTENT THEY DESIRED, USING WHATEVER METRICS THEY WANTED, I highly doubted they would want to live there.

If they want to examine the place via bio-probe, that's their own damned business.

Now would you like to post something that actually makes sense or keep flappin away with the nonsense?

I absolutely do have an argument. But given that neither one of you has actually challenged me with any sort of debatable counter-point, it's completely unclear what you're looking for.

I presume you just enjoy the sound of your fingers clacking away on the keys. Pretty typical of you.

Right let's try one more time.

You made a statement saying you had examined places that had no taxes and they were #holes nobody would want to live in.

I simply asked you to explain that statement and provide us with some results of your "examination "

You made this statement from an apparent place of knowledge and wisdom, I simply asked you to share your wisdom and knowledge. So feel free to educate us...

No, I did not. What I said was that if the person I was responding to examined those places, I highly doubted THEY would want to live there.

No, you didn't. You asked me what this "examination" entailed. How would I know? It wasn't MY examination. It was intended to be an examination by the person I was speaking to, using whatever parameters were important to them. I was suggesting that no matter how they sliced it, they would likely arrive at the same conclusion, but given that their parameters may not be the same as my own, I stopped short of using the word "definitely."

Lucky for you, I actually have looked into this before. And there are about 100 ways you could have asked a smarter question that would have encouraged me to offer up that analysis.

For the record, there are very few places on the globe that are truly tax free. If you do a Google search (as internet warriors are prone to do), you'll find a handful of nice sounding places where there are no income taxes. But no income taxes does not = no taxes. There are payroll taxes (different than income), property taxes, inheritance taxes, and so forth.

So the first question for you to consider is WHERE are these mythical lands that have no taxes at all, of any kind?

No taxes basically = no government, no common infrastructure, no shared services like fire departments or police departments. There absolutely are places like this in the world. They tend to be run by warlords, mercenaries, and cartels.

If you want to live in a place like this, knock yourself out.

If you're rich enough, you could always attempt to renounce your U.S. citizenship (so as to avoid paying taxes here) and move to your own private island. Problem is, if you're that rich, the U.S. government makes it very difficult to renounce your citizenship. And if you're in the class of people who can afford their own island nation, you're probably not on ATS at 3 in the morning.

Maybe I live in a bubble, but the people I know just want a liveable wage, home, a yearly vacation and affordable access to medical and prescriptions. Nothing wrong with being rich but now the rich are just another hoarder. Sick with greed.

Oh of course.

Me believing we shouldn't be paying taxes, doesn't negate the NEED for taxes.

The inequality was not so large when workers had rights under capitalism and had collective bargaining via unions.
Today, unions account for less than 15% of the workforce.

Corporations and their mouth pieces sold us out and ironically went to Communist China where workers do not have rights.
It is always cheaper to hire workers under communism than it is under capitalism.

It seems it is evil when workers get together via collective bargaining, but yet corporations have teams of lawyers, teams of lobbyists and team together to write trade pacts collectively and we hear little about this.

Even to question inequality means you are a socialist and drink dirty bath water./sarc

The gains in productivity are not being shared with the workers. If they were you could afford the little things, like health insurance.

Yep
And the irony is that the inequality is not because of Capitalism but because of economic policies with slave labor countries.
The wealthy purchased the government to redistribute more to themselves and people are shocked at the results.

But let's hope that this trend will change eventually once we keep cutting taxes favouring the wealthiest.

Congressional Budget Office

Not likely, and I get your sarcasm

If you cut taxes, that means more for upper management and shareholders.
It never trickles down to consumers or workers.

My ACA Omnia Silver plan is going from $1600 per month for family of 4 to $2100 per month. A 23% increase. My salary did not go up 23% this year!

Eff the healthcare cartel! Eff the corporations!

Yep.
The majority of the costs in healthcare go to upper management and shareholders.
Not to the majority of the workers below.
The highest paying CEO positions in America are in the Healthcare and Insurancce Industry.
The Healthcare and Insurance Industry are also the top dog lobbyists.
It is a racket for of shysters.

Why do workers keep working for less ?

You would think people would know better by now.

Supply and Demand is the cause, not skills.
What do you do with 90% of the jobs if 90% of the people move up?

You people are going about this all wrong. Instead of being whiny bitches you should be trying to join the 1%. Problem solved.

How can the 90% join the 1%?
Inquiring minds want to know.
If 90% move up into 1% jobs, then who will do all the 90% jobs?
Bring in more illegals for cheap labor and outsource more to slave labor countries?

We would be right back where we started because wages at the new jobs the 90% have would drop back down to where they are now.

Taxes are passed onto consumers though I am told so consumers pay the majority of taxes.

If we payed no taxes then how would we protect corporate trade around the world with our trillion dollar military?
Globalists would lose all their wealth.

Lets do it though.
