Back to That's not what I remember of the rehearsal......
[Ex] The THIRD apology
Leeann Tweeden appeared Friday on 'The View' and said she received a third apology from Sen. Al Franken just before air time:
'Dear Leanne,
'I want to apologize to you personally. I don't know what was in my head when I took that picture. That doesn't matter. There's no excuse. I understand why you feel violated by that photo. I remember that rehearsal differently. What's important is the impact on you and you felt violated by my actions. For that I apologize. I have tremendous respect for you and the work you do for the USO. I am so sorry.
'Sincerely, Al Franken
In other words he's saying he doesn't believe her. I thought all accusers must be believed?

Well the woman in the picture says in the Hill article linked in the OP that he forced his tongue down her throat.
Big deal.

Part of testosterone is admiring, secretly or not, the fact that some other dude got away with some kind of ballsy, possibly inappropriate behavior. This a fact of the endocrine system, one that mere morals and dogma cannot change.

Consider the POTUS. In my town nobody admitted they were voting for him. They lied on the exit polls. At the end of the day, many people don't care if their leaders or idols are badly behaved humans, so long as they sin boldly and without apology.
Populist politicians and popular evangelists tend to be this way. This attraction to base behavior combined with charisma and fame, is as old as human society -- as is also, the common person's resentment of hypocrisy or deceit in the people they trust.
Youre a disgusting human being if thats how you really think, and exposes your clear bias with all the BS threads you have made claiming some moral high ground, along with your responses to the other allegations against other people being accused of sexual assault.
Ugh this should be screen shot and saved and every time you try to come up with another hypocritical point, or feign some outrage , it should be posted

Is there anyone that thinks the photo is actually humorous?
Kids maybe. I don't. But I also don't think he's touching her either.
You can plainly see his fingertip flattened against her:
That arrow points to a finger TOUCHING her breast area. ARE YOU BLIND????!@?@??@?@?edit on 17-11-2017 by Justoneman because: (no reason given)edit on 17-11-2017 by Justoneman because: (no reason given)

—innocent until proven guilty.
would it be all right for a person to get down between someone's legs, as long as they're not touching them – and make some kind of lewd gesture towards that person's genitalia? I mean as long as they're not touching them

.........Or until they admit they did it.
No need for a trial when you admit guilt.
He admitted it was a joke. He never admitted to sexual assault.

He admitted he did it, and it's sexual assault by definition. Calling it a joke doesn't change that.
