Ok, fair enough. But you wouldn't expect everyone to feel that way, would you?

People who have been sexually abused before? They should also just laugh it off?

Looks like Al may be the next politician in line for leaving politics...

That lady is not sleep. She is passed out. Al Franken must have slipped a Mickey into her water bottle, like Bill Cosby used to do.

Is there anyone that thinks the photo is actually humorous?

Kids maybe. I don't. But I also don't think he's touching her either.

You can plainly see his fingertip flattened against her:

He just had to touch very lightly so as not to awaken her and give her a chance to say, "Get the F- away from me!"

Then those must be magic shadows beneath his finger-tips?

Can't believe we are going full Zapbruder footage on the grope pic.

I think he sees the kiss and tongue part as what he has to worry about and it's obvious in how he words his apologies. Most won't even notice his wording and think he was just apologizing.

I agree, the photo can be written off to bad judgement.

Exactly how I feel.

And again, I stress that I am not saying he is guilty, he like all of the others accused deserve to have their side heard.

Thanks for the close up. It clearly shows a shadow under his fingers. Thus not touching her.

I don't give a # about Al. His comedy isn't my thing. Nor do I care for his politics. He could be a Republican and I'd say the same. The people of Wisconsin must feel he's doing a good job though. They reelected him.

You believe her, even if the picture proves otherwise. That will stand in a court of law.

Definitely pinkie/nipple contact.

Not at all. I would suspect many would be far more offended than me.

I think this woman has every right to be offended by this, particularly if the rest of her claims about Frankens behavior are accurate.

I am just saying I dont think this picture alone, although it may have been very disturbing to the woman, is reason to call for him to lose his senate seat.

Again, the opther allegations of forcing his tongue are far more serious to me.

17 page of arguing over anything and everything about it, seems to be the way to go with all these new brave acts of ppl exposing some real messed up stuff in our very systems. Shouldnt we start to figure out what all this means and what should be really improved about how these systems are run from now on.

It looks like he was kidding around, to me.

Kidding in a pervy molesty kind of way. What do you consider kidding around in that photo? I might forgive him if he was 13 years old, but an adult!? No, it's not funny or kidding. It's over the line, especially for a person he was aggressively going after to kiss him against her wishes. In that context, it seems less kidding and more pervy.

Fingertips are rounded, so of course they cast some shadow at a point of contact. Thats why I mentioned it was flattened.

I don't believe Franken deserves the benefit of the doubt here. A tiny amount of turbulence and both hands may have been all over her chest. It's not like he was concerned about maybe touching her.

my God how many times do I have to say it. It's the Rehearsal, Tonguing and Frakken's behavior after that that is really troublesome.

....and you still haven't commented on that despite numerous requests by me and others.

Do you believe her statements about the rehearsal and tongue the rest of her description?

The picture isn't the biggest issue in this. It's circumstantial to the other behaviors.

So one in ten fingertips might have made contact through a FLACK VEST.

Al Frankin is really, really bad at groping.

Again, it is inappropriate and he deserves to get "flack" for it, but pretending this picture shows something it doesn't does not inform the debate IMO.

Yeah, I like to wait for the outcome before casting aspersions. Without it, these amount to witch hunts and I'm saying that as a person who does not like this guy. It's not political with me since I'm not a partisan for either side, I just don't care for the guy and how he does things. Both sides deserve to be heard.

Start that thread then! Humanity's powerful seems to corrupted by their power. It's a broader question of the nature of people and power.

A regular employee would be fired in a heartbeat if a picture like this was revealed. A sitting US senator should be held to higher standards.

That's the evidence she has offered. Should it not even be considered? Do we dismiss it entirely because it looks like maybe most of his fingers aren't touching her?

I predict that baby production in the US will end within 5 years. Nobody is going to want to even look at the opposite sex for fear of reprisal. Seriously, is someone from 3rd grade going to come forward and accuse someone 60 years ago of sexual misconduct? It WILL get that stupid...and dilute true sex crimes.

I know what that's. Watch and learn:
