It's a head cold. Thankfully it hasn't gone down into my lungs. All one can do is drink plenty of fluids and rest.

Lots of water, fruit juice... and coffee.
You can take something like Tylenol Complete to lessen the symptoms but I only take them when I can't breath though my nose. Mouth breathing not only is kinda creepy but it dries out your throat leaving you open to infection.

Make sure you have plenty of kleenex. 2 boxes. You don't know how much you're going to need and you don't want to run out. I don't have the energy to go out so I've got what I've got. Run out of kleenex and you're down to toilet paper. It's great for wiping your butt but tears your nose apart with frequent use. And if you run out of that ZOMG. Paper towel. Now we're talking serious philtrum sandpaper.

So today will be another with fluids, kleenex, ATS and Dexter.

I recommend garlic, honey, vitamin C and caffeine. And of course plenty of water.

Rest now. Nothing too physically demanding for you until you get better. I have a relative who went chopping wood while in a cold, and he got a nasty heart problem of some kind.

Tea, good black tea will help flush the flu out too, for the hot beverage needed late afternoon and evening. Ginger ale, chicken soup with black pepper......

Don't forget the vitamin d and c. And the superfoods.

Poor fellow. Man colds. They're the worst.
I caught one from my husband once......it was awful 😫😣😱🤒

This seems to be OK, cold or no cold. Is it supposed to be a warm drink?

Have to substitute something like tea. Can't drink alcohol.

You haven't got a cold, you have manflu. It is a debilitating sickness which only afflicts men. Symptoms are extreme pain, confusion, disorientation and sometimes, hunger. You need to let out a small cry of pain every once in a while if only for effect. Milk it for all it's worth!

You really don't need a cold. Stay inside. Do NOT get chilled.

Yep, it's supposed to be warmed up a little bit, it helps the honey mix with it.

To the OP, sorry you can't drink alcohol. I heard Opium works wonders as well.

Opioids make me thirsty. Might work.

ETA: Got an apple cider cup for the Keurig. It's pretty tasty.

OJ, cashews, and oysters with hot sauce. You get your vitamin C, your Zinc, and your sinuses cleaned out.

To clean your sinuses out do you stuff all that up your nose or eat it?😉😜

LOL, just eat it. If the hot sauce is hot enough, those sinuses will clear themselves. Wasabi is good for that too.

Constant stream of hot tea, any variety, and decongestant - Mucinex if I must. Can't let it get settled into either my sinuses or my chest.

Lots and lots of Kleenexes. Only 2 boxes? You underachieve!
