The Dubai airshow has in the past proven to be where huge orders, and new aircraft have been launched. The predictions for this year were for a quiet show with no surprises. Apparently a few people didn't get the memo.

Bombardier:

EgyptAir announced they have an order for 12 CS300s, with an option for 12 more.

Boeing:

FlyDubai ordered a total of 225 737 Max aircraft. The deal is worth a total of $27B.

Airbus:

The huge winner this year turns out to be Airbus. They just announced a deal with Indigo Partners, who own 4 airlines, for a total of 430 A320 neo family aircraft. The deal breaks down to 273 A320neos, and 157 A321neos, valued at $49.5B.
