Lies.

Oh, it was just Bill being Bill, right?
But should Bill be held accountable for what he is accused of being, a rapist? Should a former pres be held accountable? (And let's not forget the Lewinsky and Flowers affairs.)

We’re told the time of judgment is upon Bill Clinton at last. In the wake of the Weinstein-Halperin-Moore revelations that have shaken the foundations of the country’s cultural and political elites, liberals are acknowledging Clinton’s conduct toward women was unconscionable.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes got the ball rolling when he tweeted: “Democrats and the center left are overdue for a real reckoning with the allegations against him.” This week, The New York Times published an op-ed called “I Believe Juanita” — thus accepting the single most incendiary charge ever leveled at the former president.
nypost.com...

In 1978 Bill Clinton was accused of violently raping Juanita Broaddrick, but being attorney General of Arkansas Clinton did not even comment on it and his attorney denied the accusation for him. There has been some back and forth from Juanita Broaddrick on what happened. But in 1999 she finally did say Bill Clinton raped her.
Of course Hillary stood by Bill but said she isn't the type of women to stand by her man....But did. Oh and Clinton later acknowledged a 5 year affair with Jenifer Flowers. Good guy.

No, the Times’ Michelle Goldberg said she believed Juanita Broaddrick, who says Clinton violently raped her in 1978 when he was Arkansas attorney general.
Yet Goldberg cannot keep herself from seeing a truth that was evident during the Clinton presidency to anyone with eyes to see: Bill Clinton was a sexual reprobate whose ascension to the Democratic nomination after the revelation of his relationship with Flowers during the primaries was a hinge moment in American history.

No one before him would’ve survived it. He did by denying it hotly — and was saved from perdition’s flames by his Hillary. She sat there on “60 Minutes” and supported him even as she said she wasn’t the type of woman who’d just “stand by her man.” Later, Clinton acknowledged the five-year Flowers affair in testimony before an independent counsel.

I also think we got the Clinton's because Ford pardoned Nixon, " for the good of the country". So the presidents just got bolder and bolder with their skirting of the laws.

What does Bill Clinton doing 40 years ago have to do with what Moore did?

This kind of insane and dumbfounding logic seems to be becoming the norm, logic based solely on partisanship. So dumb and nonsensical.

a reply to: seasonal I don't get where you got thank the liberals for Moore surviving? Thank his party for not accepting the allegations'. The left and right are to blame for everything that is bad in this country. Time to accept that. If the voter is too stupid to see that then maybe we should burn to the ground with crazy people that are tptb.

Roy is just a scumbag who happens to be Republican. End of story. No need to cast blame any further than Roy himself. If he wins the election however, I tend to blame the people who voted for him, period.

The Clintons wrote the how to guide on how to get away with law breaking. In this case it was rape/sexual misconduct.

Now if the latest clown, Moore, gets away with his little trysts then there could be a case made that the machine known as the Clintons could have paved the way. Keep in mind that Mr. Moore's allegations came up at the most opportune time.

Have you forgotten the personal life is personal and that doesn't have anything to do with the presidency. This is one of the many lines the Clintons used to distract from Bill's antics.

And the Clintons are Liberal. And for sure lowered the bar as far as what is shocking.

Of course, because Clinton was the first person to ever get away with rape and/or sexual misconduct in the history of ever. Not to mention there was never a Republican who got away with rape until Moore or before Clinton did it.

Yeah, sounds about right, logic based solely on partisanship.

The national Republican party has pulled their funding for Roy Moore, as well as closed their field offices that are helping his campaign.

The GOP can easily refuse to allow Moore to take his seat if he wins, and there's been rumblings that they might just do that.

So, Jeff Sessions might actually go back to his old job...even if Moore wins the election.

Hell, even Sean Hannity is starting to back down and change his mind on Moore. The same with Steven Bannon.

They were both Democrats at the time.

No. Ted Kennedy did in 1990.

What does that matter? There were plenty of people raping other people in the 90's and I'm guessing many of them got away with it.

The premise of this thread is nonsensical and dumb.

I think because Presidents and Congressmen are the perpetrators, is what makes it so high-profile.

But come to think of it, was Roy Moore even a public official in 1977?

This really is less about Bill and more about the useful idiots that went along with all the 1/2 truths and lies. In this case it was liberals that pushed hard for Bill to be treated with kid gloves when caught lying about boning.

Of course there are other rape/sexual misconduct. But the Clintons brought this to prime time. And there was nothing they would not have done to make it go away.

I guess the Clintons normalized this. And as I said we got the Clinton's because Ford pardoned Nixon, " for the good of the country". There is plenty of blame to go around. The politicians are a gang that sticks together.

I want to know why there has been no forensic age dating of the INK in the yearbook entry that Roy Moore allegedly penned, in 1977.

That yearbook entry is what caused Ted Cruz and several other Republicans to shift their position and come out against Roy Moore today.

No. He's chosen a more influential path than a mere public-servant.

So the 15+ women who have accused Trump of groping/raping them are lying because Trump hasn't been charged with anything, but this one lady who says Clinton raped her is telling the truth even though Clinton hasn't been charged with anything.

Does that sound about right? There's nothing contradictory about that logic at all, it's totally sensical. Use a certain concept (no charges) in defense of one person but totally disregard it when accusing another person as guilty.

If Trump is guilty then he should cool his heals in prison.

But this isn't about Trump, this is about liberals (useful idiots) who will do all they can to explain away the rapes/sexual assault allegations for Bill.

If Bill is guilty, prison.

Yet you support one of those people in spite of said unproven allegations while at the same time condemning another because of the same (and far less) unproven allegations.
