that would be six commandments. And Paul never said we were to keep the Sabbath.

Romans 13:9, 10 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Well the church is not an organization but an organism called the body of Christ. We may meet together but there is no local temple or chapel called the house of the Lord. We believers are the house of God, the temple of the Holy Ghost.

I agree with this paragraph entirely, but that does not entitle us to say to say there were "no Christians in Russia" as long as the only resident Christians happened to be organised under what we would now call Orthodox bishops. That was the statement I was disputing.

The only allowed so called Christian groups that were in Russia since before 986 AD was the Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches. So don't claim Christianity has been there all that time

This one, that is, which means "As long as the only people calling themselves Christians were Orthodox, Christianity was not there". Following that logic across the whole of Europe, as I pointed out, there would have been no Christians ANYWHERE before 1500 A.D. That is an impossible position to take up.

At that time they were the only ones openly claiming they were Christianity in Russia.

Yes, there may have been some that were saved, but to compromise at worship like the burning of candles for the dead, masses for the dead, eating the body of Christ, buying statues, or many of he other practices is what would cause you do die sooner or fall away.

That is not what Christianity is.
