Initially read "taters" as tatars" and was wondering why. Looked back and saw the mashed bit. Sounds great though. Fried potatoes and kielbasa, now that is good.

If you have never had them I suggest you seek out "banana fingerling potatoes".

They are thick and have an exceptional flavor,they are also ridiculously easy to grow. I have an organic potato plot, and I grow about 50 lbs of fingerlings a year just for mashed potatoes.

Seriously , once you try them you won't look back , they are so creamy and thick you don't need sour cream or butter, just salt and pepper.
