Yes. It CAN be done. Small units/groups seem more likely to succeed. The bigger the numbers, the more that have a problem with the choices, the vision and the general direction.

To counter the large number scenario, more power HAS to be given to control those that disapprove. Then we're off to the races....yet again.

Wrong. The current functioning of 'our' system is more closely paralleled to Moussolini's "Textbook Fascism" (powerful central government interlocked with corporate power).

USSR was more just pure raw centralized government, with hardcore price fixing, and zero private property.

The two are technically both "Statism", and the goon squad tactics do smell an awful lot a like, but the governments themselves in economic terms are totally different.

Have you ever even watched any documentaries on the history of Communism, or does it just sound nice and comforting while happening to be diametrically opposed to capitalism so you've just been running with it in idealism?

I respect you, I seriously do. All I'm trying to say is that we didn't find the best way to direct and maintain society in a way which keeps us successful and alive for the next 3 million years. And communism will have to be a part of our future because capitalism is obviously not the answer.

Please note I said "part of". I believe we will have to come up with an ideology to end all other *ism.

You are absolutely right. Communism will play a huge role in the future.

Generation after generation will know and never forget the sacrifices it took to eradicate communism and communists in the west, and the struggle to return our countries to normality.
