When you're granting all of that support/empathy/understanding/counseling to the alleged victim, are you in effect saying that their accusation is true? That the accused is guilty?

No you're not.

What you are saying is that sexual assault is a traumatic experience and without this support to aid in the alleged victim's stability then the investigation could suffer.

Pretty much. Your claim was that they would lose stardom if they reported. That is a false claim.

I'll take your word for it. I've never been offered potential stardom for sexual favors in return. But several of Weinstein's accusers said that they didn't resist him because he held the key to their desire for fame and fortune.
