Thought that would get your attention.

Either on this site (searches were no good) or elsewhere I remember reading about a great side table/coffee table with hidden compartments all through it.

It was more like a Chinese puzzle box than furniture, but I can't find it anywhere on line or here.

Does anyone have any links or ideas?

Kai Table created by Japanese designers Naoki Hirakoso and Takamitsu Kitahara has many secret drawers, panels and mini cupboards of various sizes built into the table.

This multi-functional piece of furniture is practical and full of surprises.

You can purchase the table at hirakosoDESIGN. www.idesignarch.com...

Des More pics of table at link showing it all closed too.

It’s over 8 grand after all is said and done.

Sometimes I wish I had my own wood shop.

I'm guessing these would be refrigerated compartments for your beverage of choice?

Just use a big regular table and put the compartments under the floor.

You guys are awesome.

*heart*

But no.

The table was a side table, about 3 feet tall, hexagon or octagon in shape, with compartments for coins/guns/etc.

I will call dibs on the kidney.

Here you go. About 3 feet tall. Slot for coins to go in. Door opens with internal compartment, and the entire service top lifts open hinge like giving access to all of the bonus 'evil' gadgetry.

It also comes in "His" and "Hers" editions.

Shame on you! CLICK BAIT? Really?

Can’t help you with the table, though. And you certainly don’t want to get ANY internal organs from me.....
