The Saudi's were not at the Country Music Festival, they were at an adjacent Casino and the shootup was a diversion so they could escape via helicopter from the roof. It failed and the assassination attempt was blamed on Paddock ( Patsy ) so the truth was hidden and the Saudi King could do a cleanup back home and arrest the perps.

OP here is some more info on what you are referring to:

"Last night, I was on radio discussing the Las Vegas shooting and the connection to what is happening in Saudi Arabia.
They are connected.
I'll start at the beginning.
There was a King Fasal who had a son, Prince Alwaleed, bin Talal.
King Fasal took ill and named his brother Salman as king in his place.
King Salman has named his son an heir to the throne, instead of his brother's son Prince Al Waleed.
Al Waleed is a Wahabbi. Salman is Suni.
Wahabbi is extreme Islam.
Salman wanted a more modern, non extreme Islam for Saudi. That's why he named his own son as heir.
In Las Vegas, Prince Al Waleed owned the upper floors of the Mandalyn Bay resort, including the 32nd floor.that was one of the points of shooting at the strip.
I say one of the places, because the witnesses were all correct. There were other locations too.
The Mandalyn Bay has a heli pad on the roof. That is important, because that was the escape route after the carnage.
Paddock was a pilot. He was also a gun runner between the Philippines and the US.
He was running guns for Prince Al Waleed.
He didn't win at the casino. Those millions came from smuggling.
On the night of the attack, I found out that King Salman was in Las Vegas. (I didn't know that part until after the show and I received a missing piece of info.
Salman was at the Tropicana.
The FBI knew Paddock was running guns.
They were tipped off.
They didn't know there was going to be an assassination attempt on Salman by Al Waleed just down the strip.
Paddock brought the guns as he usually did.
Instead of getting paid this time, he was killed.
He was victim one.
The guns were used to shoot at the country music venue.
That was to create chaos and distract from the real target over at the Tropicana.
Al Waleed's assassins shot from Mandalay bay, but they also were at the Tropicana trying to kill Salman.
That explains why there were shooters on the ground as well as in the air.
Remember the vids of the helicopter fly over.
I asked why a helicopter would be there when there was a shooter high up.
It wasn't news, or cops.
It was the assassins who ran up the stairs to the roof from the 32nd floor.
Remember they sealed the door to the stairwell?
Paddock had access to the service elevator, because the boss said he could use the elevator.
Nobody questioned him.
Meanwhile the assassination attempt on Salman failed.
Now we are seeing the result of the failed attempt.
It was not only an assassination attempt and a terror attack, but an attempted coup in Saudi.
This is why everyone shut up in Las Vegas.
The response is still ongoing.
You are watching it play out.
As I said, I spoke on air about this.
I will post links in comments to prove my story.
Las Vegas was definitely a terror attack.
Paddock was the gun runner.
Al Waleed, the owner of the suite was who is behind all of it.
All the witnesses citing multiple shooters all told the truth.
There were shootouts along the strip and in Mandalay Bay & Tropicana hotels.
The reason nobody is talking is it's not over yet."

Why did they need to escape via helicopter? Why did they think that having a helicopter pick them up from the roof of a major casino was a legit way to escape?

And how did they manage to blame it on Paddock? Did they break into a random room and set up that sniper's nest and the cameras and all of that? Or they scoped his room out ahead of time in case it went bad and they needed a patsy?

Seriously?

ETA: I see the post directly above mine here explains your theory. It doesn't answer everything, but I suppose it's as good as some of the other rampant speculation around here.

Your making out like its my theory, its not. I'm merely regurgitating what I heard a week ago from memory.

To be fair, your post reads as if you are reporting facts, or what you believe to be facts, since there is no mention of "theory" at all and you don't use the words "I think" or "I believe" or even "maybe."

Glad it's cleared up though, and thank you for helping bring me up to speed on the Saudi-assassination-distraction theory!

The fact that this got 28 flags makes me seriously question why I bother coming here.

Hey, I once heard of Saudi Arabia. I must be involved too.

Is it really impossible that while tracing the shooters oodles of mystery money they stumbled on a connection to Saudi money? And/or the ISIS connection?

I mean, don't get me wrong there is only the thinnest of circumstantial evidence to make that assumption. Anyone who "believes" that based on what we know publicly is probably a nutter. But asking that question or throwing the idea out as a possibility doesn't seem that crazy. Lots of crazy coincidence happening right now. Who knows how much, if any, of this stuff is connected with SA, the crack down, all the #qanaon stuff (which I don't "believe ", either), sealed indictments in the DC district court, etc?

So the new standard in here is if it doesn't violate the laws of physics it's a worthy theory?

Just because something is possible doesn't mean it's worth discussing. It would be nice if we had some standards. And no I'm not calling on the owners to enforce such standards, just that we as members held each other to a little bit higher one.

It's a conspiracy site. We have threads about alien abductions and time travel.

People are just throwing out ideas. I'm not sure why you're so offended

I'm not sure why you're making # up. You can disagree with something without being offended. I don't see anything about me taking offense.

I'm aware it's a conspiracy site. There's a difference between conspiracy theories and just randomly posting "what if [insert some random thing of which there are zero indicators]". I mean, what if Michael Jackson faked his death and was actually the Vegas shooter? There's no reason to think that, there's no clues that point that direction, I just made it up. But hey it's a conspiracy site, so it's legit right? No.

Again, there are tons of threads I think are ridiculous on the site. I usually don't read them, or I stop reading them when I do find I've opened one. I might rarely say, "this isn't true because..". What I definitely don't do is post repeatedly in them adding no content or opinion apart from more noise about how much I hate that the thread exists and that people shouldn't be discussing it. Just me. YMMV

A keen observation on your part. I would agree. The money trail always comes around full circle.

You're on the right track, but going the wrong way. The attack was intended against the new king of Saudi arabia who was in the flamingo that night, dressed in street clothes, a white baseball jersey. Swat was seen escorting him to safety.

Everything happening in Saudi Arabia is a purge, cleaning up their act so trump allows them to list on the NYSE.

Escape by helicopter has been a very successful route in the past. Several prison breaks in multiple countries have occurred successfully with helicopters. Plus, considering Vegas is in the middle of nowhere with hills everywhere, once the chopper clears the city they can stay at a super low elevation with no threat to anybody as a way to avoid radar. Then they just land so many miles away between hills and the occupants move on in land transport.
It may sound very Hollywierd, but it has been done before repeatedly with positive results.

Then stop coming here and wasting the bandwidth with non contributing nagging. And you are deflecting from actual investigation into the matter. So if you are so wound up over this claim, move on and go bitch about Trump or something.

As far as the general topic, Prince Al-Waleed was ki lled in a chopper crash on the Yemen border last week the day after the purge began. It was actually very convenient, because now there is doubt as to whether he was killed by internal rivals, or was merely a casualty of the ongoing war with the Houthi faction that continues to give the aggressors black eyes and bloody noses, and a broken rib here and there. Either way, if that son-of-a-bitch is responsible for the Vegas shooting instead of the Ma gneto thermal stimulation (brain hacking) I originally thought was responsible for remotely controlling Paddock from the discovery at Pralle labs in University of Buffalo, then it means the actual people responsible are dead, and we can all have our closure.

If you just knew what this saying realy ment: Whats In The Best Interest Of the United States meant, you would be so much smarter.

No American would ever imagine that its own government would ever target its own population to reach its goals.

That is how ignorant the Americans really are.

If just one American could just learn a tiny bit about Gladio......

This would make so much more sense.......

But kids today would not not understand since they are groomed in how to use facts. Government facts......

Hidden in the fantastically boring depths of the 1,576-page NDAA 2017, in §1259C, below Subtitle E, labeled “Other Matters,” below Title XIII , is approval for the funding of a new propaganda agency which will be managed by the secretary of state. The text was pretty much lifted word-for-word from the Portman-Murphy “Countering Disinformation & Propaganda Act,”except that congress changed the name from the slightly ominous-sounding “Center for Information Analysis and Response” to a happier “Global Engagement Center.” Among other things, the center’s function is to —

…develop, plan, and synchronize… whole-of-government initiatives to expose and counter foreign propaganda and disinformationdirected against United States national security interests and proactively advance fact-based narratives that support United States allies and interests

§1259C, a3

To establish cooperative or liaison relationships with foreign partners and allies… and other entities, such as academia, nongovernmental organizations, and the private sector

— §1259C, a5

Or, in other words, they’ll be planting their people in academic situations & working with pretty much any industry they think will enhance their propaganda’s reach & effectiveness. The section even approves funding to spy on journalists, social media groups, political parties, & NGOs — all of this is to “proactively advance fact-based narratives,” of course. See for yourself — the NDAA lists one of the center’s functions as:

“Identifying current and emerging trends in… information obtained from print, broadcast, online and social media, support for third-party outlets such as think tanks, political parties, and nongovernmental organizations… and the use of covert or clandestine special operators and agents to influence targeted populations and governments…”

§1259C, b4

AUTHORITY FOR GRANTS.—The Center is authorized to provide grants or contracts of financial support to civil society groups, journalists, nongovernmental organizations, federally-funded research and development centers, private companies, or academic institutions for the following purposes:

[…]to counter efforts by foreign governments to use disinformation, misinformation, and propaganda to influence the policies and social and political stability of the United States

§1259C, f(1) & §1259C, f(1)D

In plain English, this is saying that the US is going to start subsidizing journalists, researchers, and even schools who agree with the regime — which, incidentally, will punish and potentially threaten the viability of truly independent media altogether.
This will probably receive even less attention, awareness, and acknowledgement as the NDAA 2012 did, but it needs to be put out there at least so we can all know whats happening. Let the fake news just keep on piling on I guess, right??

There is a saying about watching the news behind the news. When the news media goes big on a single news item then drops it, what were they covering up? What happened when the 'big' news came out and what news went away when the media dropped their big story.
