Florida woman tried to set off explosive during traffic stop

What was the intent behind trying to light them? Clearly she was intending to throw them at deputies or otherwise use them to interfere with her arrest. An explosive (even a firecracker) is a weapon when used in an aggressive manner. My cup of coffee can be a weapon if I intend to throw it in someone's face, so I do understand what you're saying, but why not just say "firecrackers" as opposed to "explosive device"?

I suppose it would also be interesting to find out whether BATFE is getting involved or not
