some strange things are happening for sure.

However i think this boils down to a lot of false hope unfortunately. At best we will end up with new overlords.

I agree. This is EXACTLY how it would look. Given a swamp, anyone who thinks it would go down without a fight haven't been drinking their Ovaltine. I mean that in jest. I can't remember a President, not even G.W. Bush, that met this sort of media storm. F.T.R almost 40 so I remember 9/11 and the following events well. Hell, I even wrote papers about the event in college. People! Do your due diligence! There is a monster in its death throws right now, and it has the internet to back it up. Don't be fooled!
