I am SO looking forward to seeing this movie.

Anyone think it will come close to the truth?

Steven Spielberg - is he known for sticking to the truth?

"Based on a true story" meaning not the entire truth. They did the same with "Zero Dark Thirty" and "American Sniper", used the movies as a way to instill their version of the truth onto millions of people.

I think you might have meant..."Though I have not seen this movie, I disagree with anything that doesn't fit within my paradigm of comfort and shall use terms like "liberal" in an attempt to find others who feel the same as myself."

If anybody thinks that Hollywood makes "Factual Movies" because they put the "Based on a True Story" crap, please watch:
-The life and times of judge Roy Bean
-Braveheart
Then google and read the real story.....

Not my type of movie, but if it where I'd wait for it's disc releases(and subsequently the free torrent download) to check it out.

Hollywood seems to be out of favour at the moment so the reaction to this will be interesting.
But I'm sure the truth will be all heroic and climactic just like real life.


Also... Needs more spaceships with lasers.

Oh, there's no way I would watch it on the 'big screen' but that doesn't mean I'll not see it 'some other way'.

This looks like such a sh1tty boring movie so that means it will probably be nominated for 15 Oscars.
