The president of the company (Randy Miller - title sponsor) was a big part of the Soda Pop Club and the reason behind the name was his involvement.

It could be nothing at all and just a part of the show as something they do for everyone but in hindsight, not knowing the details, it is suspect at the least.

I see nothing wrong with that, and I honestly don't blame him. News reports will come and go, but if he can make a movie about it, it'll be out there whether the people accused like it or not. Another plus(if you can call it that) is that if the scenario's are acted, it'll have a stronger emotional response(not like it needs one, but c'mon, nobodies done anything about it until now).

The other reason he wants money, and I honestly don't blame him, is to protect him legally, and physically. You know he's going to be sued, so he wants to make sure he can afford a good lawyer, and he wants protection so he doesn't have an "accident", or somehow shoot himself in the head while tied down(or any other example we've seen countless times before with people who go against the grain).

Ok, fair enough on hedging against civil suits...but why not make it wholly transparent the proceeds from any 'movie' be held in a blind trust for the sole purpose of renumerating victims? That's fairly easy to do and squashes any notion of a profit motive. Oh, and if the facts support, and ultimately prove, a criminal act of child abuse, good luck suing an individual who was traumatized as a kid by a pedophile -- show me a person in favor of suing a bona fide child abuse victim, and I'll show you a special place in Hades for said person.

And believe me, anyone with a beating heart will have an 'emotional response' if the facts expose and confirm serial child abuse -- no actors needed for that.

Corey may have been abused. The other Corey's (Haim) mother has asked Feldman to stop using her son as a 'billboard' (my word) for his 'fund' raising campaign. The Matt Lauer interview was circumspect, as well. How about this Corey Feldman: finger the individual that abused you, have all your ducks in a row (regarding incriminating evidence), and carry the water yourself and let the justice system vindicate you (and properly imprison your abuser)?

Ask for money after you (state attorney) have proven something. This idea he fears for his life is pure nonsense. Sexual assault allegations of A-listers isn't new; where are the bodies of those who dared seek justice for the crimes committed against them in this vein of Hollywood's perversion? You're safe, Corey. Your reputation, well, that was ruined a long time ago, but do us a solid and simply seek justice for yourself and pay it forward through outreach, education, and prevention. I bet more would 'buy' your story and motives. Until then, I hope those who are/were truly abused aren't marginalized by, what appears on the surface -- and can be insinuated by the comportment/presentation -- a "give me some of your money and I promise to expose...blah, blah, blah....just trust me" 'fund' raising campaign.

In a recent interview with Doctor Oz, Feldman says 1000s of people will know the names of the abusers as they all attended 'Alphy's soda Pop club' with him in the 80s. It was a night club run by a producer and was exclusively for teen stars....which is creepy.

Corey Haim didn't seem to like Alphy Hoffman who ran the club. He was a producer (who didn't produce much), who ran a nightclub for child stars, invite only. This has come up in the allegations about another hollywood producer. He had friends who called them selves 'producers' but didn't actually work. All they did was round up teenagers they liked the look of and promised them jobs, then abused them and pimped them out.

.....And the chickens are coming home to roost. Charlie Sheen was hinted in an article I posted earlier. Others are finally speaking out and not just leaving it to one man to get all the flack.

In Corey's statement I linked to that he put on twitter, he said the actor has a history of death threats and violence that are a matter of record. The article also goes into the accusations by Sheen's Ex wife Denise Richards that Sheen was a watcher of child abuse, she discovered this and he threatened her.

Unless his mother was there when it happened, she is not in any way qualified to make a definitive statement regarding the number of times he was abused and by whom. And if she was there, and therefore accurate in her statement, then they need to lock her bitch ass up too, as an accessory.

I am personally rather suspicious of this entire Feldman scenario, and I question the motives of everyone involved. But honestly? # what his mother has to say about it. And if it was taken out of context and deliberately used to manipulate the viewpoint of the intellectually lazy and morally absent as it appears to have been used in your post, well...# whoever thinks that's acceptable too.

When we start openly calling into question the testimony of victims of childhood sexual predators by giving credence to a statement that either diminishes the claims of the actual victim, or even outright contradicts them, we are giving pedophiles everywhere less chance of being caught. Children who are victims of constant abuse will see things like that, and it will discourage them from speaking out against their own tormentors. When people think its OK to consider the opinion of a third party who has no personal knowledge of the subject beyond what the victim shared with her over the first hand knowledge of the actual victim, then no children are safe from this.

You're not saying he's lying...then why say it at all? Are you aware that pedophiles get away with horrific abuse every single minute in this country because of people taking the word of another person over that of the one who was actually there and actually suffered the abuse? Some of their victims are following this thread right now.

Charlie Sheen is being accused of sodomizing a then 13-year-old Corey Haim on the set of the movie 'Lucas.'
According to the National Enquirer, a now deceased Haim had told others about how he was allegedly raped as a minor by Sheen, who was 19 at the time, while filming the 1986 movie. 

Former actor Dominick Brascia claims Haim disclosed to him what happened between he and Sheen. Brascia went on the record about what he says Haim told him before he died in 2010 at 38-years-old. 
'Haim told me he had sex with Sheen when they filmed 'Lucas,' Brascia told the Enquirer. 'He told me they smoked pot and had sex. He said they had anal sex. Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him. When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested.'
The magazine also says that Lost Boys actor's closest friend, Corey Feldman, alluded to the alleged incident in his book 'Coreyography: A Memoir.'
'At some point during the filming [of 'Lucas,' Haim] explained an adult male convinced him it was perfectly normal for older men and younger boys in the business to have sexual relations, that it was ''what all guys do,'' Feldman wrote.
'So they walked off to a secluded area between two trailers during a lunch break for the cast and crew,' continued Feldman,' and Haim, innocent and ambitious as he was, allowed himself to be sodomized.' Feldman never named Sheen as the man in the incident. 
In 2011, according to the Enquirer, when Feldman was asked about Sheen he said: 'I'm not a huge fan of Charlie Sheen…especially the way he's affected other people that I know.' Tellingly, Feldman also said Haim 'fought for his entire life to recover from those early experiences and to get his life together.'
Other sources came forward to support the claims made by Brascia about Haim's interaction on set with Sheen- who is now living life with HIV. 
Another insider alleges that 'Corey was so confused by the sexual encounter he believed, like so many victims, he was 'in love' with his abuser,' adding that the actor bullied the young teen actor into a vulnerable position for sex.  
Brascia added that Haim told him he later had consensual sex with the 'Wall Street' star while in his mid-to-late 20s. 'Haim told me he had sex with Sheen again,' Brascia said, adding 'He claimed he didn't like it and was finally over Sheen. He said Charlie was a loser.'

Haim allegedly told several people close to him about Sheen's abuse during the filming of 'Lucas'
According to the report, the Enquirer says they spoke with dozens of sources who say Haim told them about his alleged abuse at Sheen's hands before he died of pneumonia in 2010.
Additionally, a confidant close to Sheen claims that the 'Platoon' actor had said he had a liaison with Haim, but said it was consensual.  
Other allegations in the report emerged in the report about Sheen's behavior with other minors on the set of 'Lucas,' in which the report says a total of eight witnesses spoke out as part of the investigation. 
One of the women on the set claims she was just 17 when Sheen inappropriately kissed her, and solicited sex from her in a bathroom: 'I [admit], I did have a thing for Sheen,' said the now 49-year-old woman. who revealed the disturbing incident at Chicago's Navy Pier.
'I talked with him for a long time,' she said, 'and kissed him.' However, the woman alleges, Sheen pressed for more than a kiss from the then underage woman.
'I was in a bathroom with him at one point. He tried to get me to have sex.' She also claimed that Sheen had become increasingly 'sloppy and wasted' as the evening progressed.
Another woman who was on set, claimed that she had just turned 18-years-old in time for the cast wrap party. 
'He found out about [my birthday] and he grabbed me and gave me this elaborate kiss,' she said, adding Sheen had a mouthful of steak at the moment he landed a 'disgusting,' slimy, saliva-smooch on her lips: 'To this day I can remember that. Is that sad?' 
The just-barely 18-year-old says she shut down Sheen after the kiss. 'I had no interest in doing anything with him, so I let him know that,' she told the Enquirer. 'I didn't think he was all that special actually, like some of the girls in my class did. I actually thought he was a conceited a–hole. He was really obnoxious on the set.' 
Bolstering the report, the Enquirer says in a 2006 court filing about Sheen, ex-wife Denise Richards allegedly claimed he visited websites featuring young men and girls who appeared underage.
In the document, Richards' hand signed declaration was filed to stop Sheen from getting overnight visits with their daughters.
The actress alleged he 'belonged' to 'disturbing' sites 'which promoted very young girls, who looked underage to me with pigtails, braces and no pubic hair performing oral sex with each other.'
Other sites visited by Sheen, Richards alleged, involved 'gay pornography also involving very young men who also did not look like adults. 
Brascia also alleges in the report that he had witnesses Haim approach Sheen one night, while the actor was sitting at a table with two A-list stars.
He said Sheen was drunk when Haim approached him and asked, 'Hey Charlie, remember me? How you doing, Charlie?' In reply, Sheen claimed he didn't know Haim, and Sheen said: 'Who are you? I don't know who you are.'
He also says later in the evening, Brascia found himself face-to-face with Sheen who told him: 'I'm really not that drunk. I just don't like that little a–hole. I hate that a–hole. Get him out of here. He's a freaking jerk.'
Sheen allegedly shoved Haim's mother Judy, after interacting with her in a favored Los Angeles spot saying: 'I hate your f—–g son. If I ever see him, I'm going to flush his head down the f—–g toilet. Get the f–k away from me,' before pushing her away and into a wall. 
An insider said the mere mention of Haim's name to Sheen and the actor would 'shut down on me completely. There's no doubt in my mind that something went down…enough that he had a grudge against Haim forever.'
The statute of limitations for 'Lucas' which was filmed in Chicago have long expired.
Sheen's lawyers told the Enquirer he never had sex with Haim, and they did not respond in time about other allegations from the set of 'Lucas.'

What Corey Feldman stated earlier ;

Wow....well Brascia was part of the accusations at one point and certainly fits into the whole story. Even if it's from the Enquirer, I think this is the first time the rumor finally becomes closer to fact.

There are many weird stories about Charlie, many of them hard to believe, and I think this is par for the course. This is fairly big but not surprising to anyone who has paid attention.

Call me crazy but I think this is pretty average behavior in Hollywood and what allows it to stay buried for so long.

Not sure your Mother would know. Maybe it is like my sister, who forever has denied her daughter was molested at age 5 by a friend, he daughter has never married and never had even a boyfriend, it destroyed the girl especially that her Mother would not believe her, her life is past now she is not young what may have happened with support.

Whatever you want to call it...I think you are mistakenly focusing on a single event when the whole thing was a lot more than that. It was named because that was what blew it up and made people do more digging and it started a wave of attention...not a huge wave but a conspiracy movement that will never end.

That's exactly the kind of thing snopes would harp on to "debunk" it.

Yep. I heard his name mentioned so I don't know what to make of that. That article says they spoke to multiple people and Sheen's lawyers so no doubt they'd been working on their own investigation for a while. I suppose with Feldman filing a police report the national Enquirer feels they can finally print the accusations.

If you look at Sheen's history, it's pretty grim. He 'accidentally' shot girlfriend Kelly Preston, beat up others (photos exist) and pleaded guilty but said more or less they deserved it. He also attacked a dentist for some reason.
