Do you not think that such ignorance is not compatible with being a effective president?

Ignorance comes in many flavours for POTUS's / POTUS candidates, for instance, if I said to you about wiping your server, would you start talking about a cloth or a computer program?

Well it does need a good clean

Seriously though, this guy up until a few weeks ago seems completely oblivious to the fact that he was the head of state for the Virgin Islands!

That kind of stupidity is not good for a POTUS and I think you know it!

Ah the "im rubber, you're glue" tactic. I didn't see that one coming. Well played.

I honestly don't know what that means.

Think I will go ponder it over some lunch...

I'm far from heated friend.

Only here for the back and fourth discussion. It's not like we're changing the world here.

Not directed to you personally.

It just makes me laugh that about 80% of replies in threads like this are just insulting the OP without really saying anything about the topic and that means it goes front page meaning even more people see it and on it goes.

so you think the intellectual content in this thread is worthy of a long philosophical discussion? Would you like to talk
about how Trump feeds fish wrong as well? This is kindergarten blubbering. It deserves exactly the response it got. It's as if the OP is looking for this kind of attention.

I think that although the wording is somewhat antagonistic the reality is that your legally elected leader has made and continues to make statements that make you question his suitability to be in such a globally important position.

If I had made a thread with the headline

"Donald Trump has made and continues to make statements that make you question his suitability to be in such a globally important position.

Would the thread be any better or would the replies be just as base and antagonistic as the ones seen here?

I belive the above statement to be worthy of discussion and would also say the same thing about our current prime minister in case people want to say I am bieng mean to Trump.

His actions affect the whole world and everyone has a right to an opinion on him not just citizens of the USA.

Trump says stupid things. While this is apparently news on your side of the pond, over here, it's just something everyone knows. He also says some good things, but you rarely hear about them, since they aren't what the masses want to hear. I really do get that it's fun to make him look like a retard. But at some point, you grow up, get a job, and realize that the world is just a bit bigger than what you thought it was when you were 12. It's almost like those who make threads like this still haven't accepted that Trump is the president and will be until he is voted out. And for that to happen, some form of a replacement will be needed.

But do you honestly think that spending time trashing him on ATS will change the world? will it make anything better? Is life so pitiful that this is what's needed to feel good about you?

The petty tantrums are re-#ing-dickulous at this point. But if that's what you all need to get through the day, while sad, I suppose that's the best you can do.

You are proberbly right but you admit yourself he says some stupid things and that is worrying.

Either he does not know the things he is saying are stupid or he refuses to listen to his advisors, either way someone like that in such an important position is worrying and so is the amount of people who seem to blindly stand behind him and justify his stupidy by attacking the person who came second in the election.

ATS used to be a place where you could talk about stuff, agree or disagree it was fun and informative but now it just seems to have to degraded into a petty left right argument between two equally stubborn sides and as I said earlier in the thread you kind of get drawn into it.

Regardless of your political viewpoint you should remain critical of your government at all times but it seems like this whole Trump thing is going on blind faith and denial and that is something that really does worry me.

Speaking as a Brit, yes, Trump is a bit of an idiot at times but the US is a democracy (sort of....) so what does that say about the millions of Americans who voted for him?

Yes, I know that the alternative was probably even worse, but he is your elected President so just deal with it.

Don't vote or the Govt will get in. None of the above, etc.

Bored now.

Nope just the ones that keep voting for their party over a good candidate, they are the biggest obstacle to removing the corrupt political parties.

You're getting worse at OP's, this one is chock-full of emotion interlaced with regurgitated dribble. You are part of Trumps idiocracy - don't bother disassociating yourself from the hysterical collective - you epitomize it.

You mean unlike this genius thread of yours?

www.abovetopsecret.com...

That was a real winner wasn't it, what with the ashes from all those burnt flags?

I'll takes the OP's threads over your sh!t partisan threads any day.

Yeah but look how many stars & flags he got, he's a Winner!

whats that 5 posts in and so far nobody has actually addressed anything in the OP.

A post about pense, something about money, the obligatory Hillary post, a funny meme and ohhhh look at that the personal digs have started early because apparently I am jealous of something.

I can see this is going to be another fun thread.

Now that you’ve come to the truthful realization that Trump truly is dumber that a box of rocks and totally unqualified to serve as POTUS, it’s time to take the next step which is to lower your expectations of his supporters.

They’re not one damn bit smarter than him!

They bought into his bulls*#t, hook, line and sinker from the very beginning and now you expect those same people to deliver a thoughtful response to your OP?

Give yourself a break and expect less from them, it’s all they’re capable of.

There is also the need to defend bad information or misinformation. Some folks here don't want to defend Trump at all and get suckered into it by the dishonesty in media. Some of that reforms itself here. Thus the opposite talking point.

Everyday there is more evidence to throw on top of the pile of Trumps gaffs. Furthering it along or being dishonest about it doesn't do us here at ATS any good.

That is an interesting statement as in the UK we vote for an MP to represent us who is a member of a party and not the leader of a party yet you seem to advocate against this?

I agree.

What is worse though? putting out untruths about him or deflecting truths about him with cries of Hiliary would have been worse?

It seems that both sides are as guilty as each other to me.

all I have to do is think on "john barron" to remember what ridiculous fool he is.

he's not that great at business either. the ONE real complicated business he had was his casino LOL.

he's brilliant at branding, i'll give him that.. but, so are the Kardashians.

By the by you should post the vids from "years" ago from Howard Stern I think, with some actors laughing about the fact that Trump was so illiterate he can barley read, same with some of his old depositions in some court cases where he was sued for his corrupt business practices.

Not that anything will matter to shake the faith of the #Cult45.

Bankrupted a Casino, the only business where people give you money for nothing & he even failed at that.

Branding, that's just a con in itself.

Like advertising where you get the non critical thinker believing they need your product.

Seriously, what is it with you and America? Politics, Gun Rights...you seem to be obsessed with pretty much everything that happens over here.

I'm starting to think you're just jealous you're not one of us.

About a decade and a half ago, some drinking buddies introduced me to an Englishman named John. I'm not sure what his job was, longshoreman or something, but he would be in town for a few months at a time and then he would head back to England. He seemed like an all around good guy. We would drink, shoot pool, throw darts, and generally have a good time at the bar.

We were talking one night and he told me something that he found really strange about Americans. We would meet up at the bar, have a few drinks, enjoy ourselves, etc., but nobody felt like starting a fight after a having a few. I could tell that really bothered him. For him, starting a fistfight over nothing after a few beers was a normal as tipping your waitress. It was just something you do.

Yeah, ATS membership is a little American heavy. Perhaps we can be more accommodating for non-US members. Maybe we can start a few meaningless fights as a bonding experience and shake hands after. Somebody make a thread about how American football is better than soccer, or how the royal family sucks, or how England is the most brutal and bloodthirsty country in history, whatever. Just a little something to get that British blood boiling with righteous anger so they can throw a few keyboard punches to defend the honour of Queen and Country.

I'd do it, but I'm not mush for starting threads. I feel like if I start a thread I should put in the time and effort to address the people that take the time to respond. And I just don't have the free time these days to monitor a "You Brits need to get rid of the royal family and start playing real football" type thread.

I think the party should be irrelevant(referring to republicans and democrats), we have been doing that my entire life, and I think most of my dads as well and the country has been on a steady decline as more lawyers, and professional politicians got into power.

They rarely actually represent their constituents, I do not trust the Republicans or Democrats I was an independent for most of my adult life till recently when I joined the Veterans Party of America.

I think its a travesty that in many states an Independent voter has no say in who the candidates will be, yet nearly half the country is either independent or unaffiliated.

We have left the country in the hands of these two parties for so long I feel its time to break them and replace them preferably with more than just 2 choices.
