I do a bit of woodworking myself. But mostly whittling and carving.

I can do the furniture thing as long as I have plenty of wood putty and caulk. For some reason I have never been able to cut a straight line. I can use a table saw with a mitre gauge and rip fence, and still get it crooked as hell.

It seems you have a special talent if you can cut crookedly with a table saw and a fence!

Maybe we do need a little woodworking shop for Augustus to mock where we can share a few hints and tips and show off our whittling skills on an evening.

Believe it or not I actually made my own cigar humidor. I carved the details into it myself but I no longer use it since it doesnt fit all the ones I have.

Very, very well done.

I woodwork but haven't attempted any carvings. That looks fantastically done.

I enjoyed it but that thing took me months.

Funny story, I go down to the specialty lumber yard to get mahogany and aromatic cedar. The owner sends me out to one of the guys in the yard with my receipt and the they guy starts talking to me about random things. He looks down at my receipt and says, 'I have no idea why this would make people like each other.'

And I said, 'Huh? What do you mean?'

He says, 'It stinks, I don't know why the call it a-romantic cedar.'

Alternative 19:80

Would 1984 be more appropriate?

The meaning behind mine had to be ret-conn'd.

I just pulled a name out of nowhere with the assumption that I could change it later. I didn't put much thought into it at all.

I do have narcolepsy, and I do have a spiritual side (though not necessarily Buddhist.)

A Buddha is one who is awakened. A narcoleptic is a very drowsy person with no relief.

I walk between worlds, at odds with everything, including my self.

Or you could just be a fast guy that sleeps in odd places. Oh wait, that's me.

Mine is simply my name in my fraternity

If that was your frat name.... Pretty sure there are quite a few embarrassing photos out there.

As for mine, it's my choice for someone with a dark sense of humor. It appears to be a misnomer though, because my humor actually stays around dad jokes level.
