Media Creates 2 Fake Trump Scandals First Day of Asia Trip

Seems as if the Media (those that control them) seem to fear that foreign policy, which was perceived to be Trump's biggest weakness, is perhaps his greatest strength.

If this is a non-story, why are you here telling us its a non-story? Must be a pretty big deal for you to work this hard making sure everyone knows this isn't a story, that you to have not heard of until this thread.

I watched it myself, Trump suggested Japan should purchase US military hardware-that's it! As for the koi pond I am highly dubious of that and even my most trusted news resources never reported that. Does CNN stand for Co fabricated News Network?

I don't like Trump but i will say if I were him i'd be p!$$ed because none of that happened; he merely made a dissimilar gesture and as someone who wishes to pursue a career in the media, there are not enough facepalms to go around.

im sure he is pissed but everytime he calls the media out on it somehow they turn it around and get the public to side with them and somehow hes worse off then before. its happened time and time again

The fishy story began overnight Sunday, when CNN circulated a deceptively edited video that appeared to show Trump, who was feeding koi fish with his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe, simply dumping his box of fish food into the pond. The apparent breach of fish-feeding protocol immediately went viral, as Trump was seen as too impatient to thoughtfully spoon the fish food into the pond, as Abe was doing.
The only problem is that ... it's all untrue.
As the non-edited video below shows, both leaders casually spooned fish food to the koi; after doing so for approximately 30 seconds, Abe dumped the remainder of his box into the pond; Trump, following Abe's lead, then does the same.

The other fake scandal concerns Trump apparently suggesting to Abe that Japan should build cars in the United States and create American jobs, rather than import them from Japan.
As the full quote makes clear, Trump not only is aware Japan manufactures cars in America, but he specifically thanks them for all of the jobs they're creating.

"I also want to recognize the business leaders in the room whose confidence in the United States — they've been creating jobs — you have such confidence in the United States, and you've been creating jobs for our country for a long, long time. Several Japanese automobile industry firms have been really doing a job," Trump says.

He then thanks Toyota and Mazda specifically for a new plant they're building in the U.S.:
And we love it when you build cars — if you're a Japanese firm, we love it — try building your cars in the United States instead of shipping them over. Is that possible to ask? That's not rude. Is that rude? I don't think so. (Laughter.) If you could build them. But I must say, Toyota and Mazda — where are you? Are you here, anybody? Toyota? Mazda? I thought so. Oh, I thought that was you. That's big stuff. Congratulations. Come on, let me shake your hand. (Applause.) They're going to invest $1.6 billion in building a new manufacturing plant, which will create as many as 4,000 new jobs in the United States.

More sad and desperate behavior from the media.

Sad thing really is, this spread like wildfire, not only through facebook and twitter but through journalists too. With almost no one taking the time to check its accuracy.

Sorry to use this already over-used term, but this is a prime example of fake news.

I stopped believing MSM as soon as they began their love fest with Obama, and I was a lifelong democrat at the time. The media constantly focusing on Obama's greatness and supreme intelligence and morality made me sick. The inauguration was a coronation, and the media presented it like one. And when Obama kept nearly all of Bush's Patriot Act and other programs, I was finished. No longer a democrat, no longer vote, no longer have cable TV news in my house, cancelled subscription to WSJ and poke around the web to cull my news from selected sources.

The media went nuts because of the accomplishment that it was THE INAUGURATION OF THE FIRST BLACK President.

And they will go nuts for the first women president.
And the first openly gay president. and so on.
In case you have not noticed that in 200+ years its been just white male presidents.

What if the MSM just wants to create a rebellious mindset that doesn't trust the government then place a seemingly savior like leader after Trump who will either have ethnic background or be a woman or even both. I'm not a Trump supporter but I do agree there is a lot of mixed news regarding him, I don't know if its a smear campaign or if this is all just part of the charade from TPTB.

Its definitely fishy!
