Seriously

I really do think the anti's don't believe half the snip they spray.

Because IF everyone was so unbalanced as they try to portray them.

Seems to me they love poking 'derranged' bears far too often.

They know law abiding gun owners don't pose a threat to them. If they did the conversations would go like this:

Well, I am sick of being automatically labelled as a "gun hater" simply for daring to have my opinion. If what people want is a thread where everyone just pats each other on the back and agrees with each other and labels anyone who dares to disagree than I have no interest in posting in those threads. Makes for a very boring DISCUSSION website methinks.

There is an art to living in a moderate position.
Keep working on your art, and things will improve for you.

But it may help to understand the views of your opposition here. Namely, that laws are already passed and in place limiting our freedom, and we aren't feeling like giving up any more ground at this point. Not without other avenues being explored first.

What is the primary function of a hand gun?

Same as any other firearm. To propel a projectile out of the barrel at great velocity.

Yeah, but he does have a CCDW permit in NY, so there's that. He also reacts like a child, so if the left tried to bully him into "negotiating" gun laws, it's quite possible that he would counter with loosening them, just because he can.

Then follow up with a tweet that read, "Neener, neener, neener"

Thats my point. How can we discuss "other avenues" when the people who try to discuss it rationally just get labelled and insulted?

Look you...
IT'S because of a MORE CAPABLE ,pragmatic and frankly ..HIGHER level vision that surpasses any caste born minds.
It cost YOU the war in 1776 and you still don't get it.
Russians think we're CRAZY too we use that.

CHAOS is part of being a cowboy and COWBOYS make the best leaders, because they handle CHAOS.
Not always correctly ,but with WHAT the asssho#es ACTUALLY tell us anyway.
YOUR SAS Taught us plenty, but uses OUR rifles and WHY?
L85s sucked like swimming BRADLEY CFVs.
TRUE we have MANY screw ups MOSTLY from greed or lies,BUT then again WE aren't any EMPIRE like Britain was , are we?
Coffee not tea 1ST THING in the morning or violence MAY indeed ensue...Least possible words used in speech, and NEVER surrendering(WE found when you do ,for SOME REASON ,they like hurting us)
BUT you are scared of guns being in the WRONG hands AS WELL as the tool required to repel them,THAT'S an INSANE breach of logic to us,which we HAVE told YOUR obtuse butt REPEATEDLY.

WE CAN'T surrender like you did.
WE WON'T

For what purpose is that projectile propelled at great velocity?

They sure do.

They KNOW the 99.9% of the US population wouldn't hurt a fly.

They also know that .01% has always been a part of society.

I think the anti's are acting like drug addicts.

Just one more law. One more law. One more law.

Our civil liberties be damned.

There are various reasons and not all of them revolve around it being propelled at another living thing.

I'm just curious where you stand now that it's obvious that this guy broke the law to obtain his weapons. What would further gun control have done? Also, if you had disarmed your every day american, this guy would have kept going. The death toll would have been higher. From where I'm standing it seems it is you who has blood on your hands.

Maybe you should talk to the guy that started this thread by blaming all gun owners for this and other incidents first. He's the one who shoved the wedge between everyone from the start.

A nice article about black market guns

So what kind of trouble do you get in for illegally owniing a firearm?

Is it a serious detterant as with the number of them out there it sounds like it is not of enough of a threat.

Here in the UK if you get caught with an unlicenced gun you get in a lot of trouble.

And as someone already pointed out, not a single one is designed for murder.

In New Jersey it's pretty serious, you're looking at a minimum of 5 years.

Its a felony. You lose your right to vote, finding a decent job becomes hard/impossible. Its essentially a one way street to having to turn to a life of crime to try to realize any socio-economic freedom.
