Normal or not, getting basic facts wrong -- like who was president of the Ukraine a couple of years ago -- undermines the prosecution. It's a basic fact that can be easily researched. With as many people who have probably helped proofread and prepare the indictment...nobody caught it?

Was that intentional or incompetence?

Either way, it undermines the prosecution, now.

And maybe later, too.

Exactly....the mistake is not something a seasoned team would make, especially one that specializes in political investigations and has every agency at their fingertips.

He wants to leave the WH with the legacy of giving the American people the largest political corruption case and convictions in history

Oh he is. Believe me...lol.

Now with Brazile even coming out about how Hillary fixed the DNC for herself things are going to get uglier. Rats are jumping ship and secrets are coming out all over. Two top lobbyists have been forced out and one firm is considering a name change. Big things coming!

Never heard of him until the Bernie Madoff scandal.

An indictment is not evjdence. It's information submitted to determine if the prosecution has enough evidence for a trial. It is not evidence itself.
If there are any errors in titles of Russians I'm sure they will be corrected when asked about at trial.

Who's the long time politicians? Manifort isn't a politician. Gates isn't nor is Papadopolis.

Well Trump is POTUS so if Manafort gets into trouble too deep Trump can just pull a Bush and "Scooter Libby" Manafort.

Heard it here first lol.

You're only as good as your weakest link...apparently they forgot to check who has been President in the Ukraine....pretty big oversight for a political investigator working on a Russian investigation with a team of others...

You're correct...that is funny.

Manafort is going to walk because Trump will grant him a pardon.

If you noticed Manafort lawyer spoke publicly and said one thing very very loud

He said FIRST

There is no evidence Manafort and the Trump campaign colluded with Russia

That statement has nothing to do with Manafort's charges.

It was an irrelevant statement in terms of Manafort but it does tell Trump Manafort knows the deal-- and is clearly kissing up to Trump

His lawyer with that statement is placating and defending Trump NOT his own client, because he knows, Trump is his only hope

It wasn't his money and he wasn't a power player. So your analogy failed on those points.

Manfort will walk because he's going to roll on more powerful players. That's why.

Don't hold your breath but definitely expect drive by responses for a while.

I definitely think Trump could and would pardon anyone he thought could possibly rat him out for criminal activity. That's why I feel like this investigation is a sham and right out of the Clinton play book. They know exactly how to make scandals & investigations *work for them*.

At any time, Trump could end this with pardons. People would squawk about it for a few months...then other news would come along to distract them into eventually dropping it.

As long as Trump lets it go on and Hillary is involved, I pretty much assume it is all a well-controlled distraction.

Manafort won't get a pardon and doesn't need one with immunity from Mueller.

A. Immunity has been secretly granted for flipping evidence (my opinion)

If Manafort is granted immunity, considering the charges he faces, he must be flipping on a real big fish.

That is not a good thing for Trump's team, if your opinion is correct.

B. The search was not kosher and garnered evidence outside the scope of the warrant

That is not a problem, as long as the prosecution does not use that evidence in it's case against Manafort.

C. The indictment incorrectly names a key player

What key player was incorrectly named?

You mean the woman they claim was the former president?

They incorrectly named her former title, not her name.

Trump pardoned Arpaio. Joe Flipping Arpaio.

If anyone has dirt on Trump and Mueller is turning the clamps on their thumbs...don't you think Trump would pardon them?

I do.

Anyone who has dirt on Trump would have been assured a pardon the day Trump was elected.

I don't believe otherwise.

ETA: The DOJ may be able to offer immunity...but Trump can offer a full pardon, at any time. He wins.
