Senator John McCain passed documents to the FBI director, James Comey, last month alleging secret contacts between the Trump campaign and Moscow and that Russian intelligence had personally compromising material on the president-elect himself.
McCain was reluctant to get involved, according to a colleague, for fear the issue would be dismissed as a personal grudge against Trump. He pushed instead for the creation of a special Senate committee to look into connections between campaign staff and Moscow, but the proposal was blocked by the Republican leadership.
10 days before Trump’s inauguration and on the eve of his first planned press conference
The material, which has been seen by the Guardian, is a series of reports on Trump’s relationship with Moscow. They were drawn up by a former western counter-intelligence official, now working as a private consultant. BuzzFeed on Tuesday published the documents, which it said were “unverified and potentially unverifiable”.
McCain is not thought to have made a judgment on the reliability of the documents but was sufficiently impressed by the source’s credentials to feel obliged to pass them to the FBI.
(New York) Sen. John McCain has still not responded to questions raised in light of the disclosure last Tuesday that the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) helped fund research utilized in the infamous, largely discredited 35-page dossier on President Donald Trump.
In December, it was McCain who notoriously passed the controversial dossier produced by the Washington firm Fusion GPS to then FBI Director James Comey, whose agency reportedly utilized the dossier as a partial basis for its probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Ryan wasn’t the only House Republican who was profoundly ambivalent about Trump. A cheat sheet by David Graham at the Atlantic found that at least twenty-five members of Ryan’s majority—more than 10 percent—declared on the record that they would not vote for their party’s standard-bearer. This is a highly unusual development in an age of intense party unity—and not a harbinger of a majority that will serve as a presidential rubber stamp.
Many vocal Trump critics, including McCain, Murkowski, Portman, and Lee, along with Senators Marco Rubio of Florida and Rand Paul of Kentucky, just won reelection. All of these members now have six years of relative electoral freedom to challenge Trump without facing the electoral consequences. Members of the House Freedom Caucus already show no reticence to do so. If we see scandals arise from the commingling of the public’s business with Trump’s enterprises, or a foreign policy disaster, expect other House Republicans to jump ship rather than face the electoral consequences. GOP Trump critics will also likely enjoy the behind-the-scenes support of the large swath of the donor and corporate class horrified by the potential chaos of a Trump presidency. The fact that Trump enters office as the least popular president-elect in modern history will lower the bar for Republican defiance—presuming his ratings stay low.
Many see the global elite as part of an organization with tentacles stretching through every entity in the world. Rather than this imagery, I would suggest seeing it as a spider web with dozens of spiders crawling on it. The rich and powerful aren’t arms of a giant organism. They’re individual actors using connections to move on their prey. There’s no singular entity controlling the world. There are a bunch of power-hungry sociopaths vying for control.
Why is President Trump feared and vilified? Because he is upsetting the powers of the Global Elite. The “Elite” want weakened borders, control over trade, elimination of private property, and gun control. They encourage terrorism and violence, destroy religious cultures, and dumb down the population. Why would the Elite want to do these things? To change dependency from home, family and religion to the Elite-controlled government.
The Globalist Elite want control over the population of the entire planet. To do this they must control the content of education, what and how much energy can be allowed, what people eat, where they live, where they travel, what kind of medical care they get and ultimately, how long they will be allowed to live. Trump represents freedom of choice — that is why they relentlessly attack him. They fear President Trump’s nationalism.

Maybe it's FAKE brain cancer? Just an excuse to vote against Trump's agenda.
Besides, the Dossier was just "opposition research". Right?
