Bet Trump comes out smelling like a rose.

So far, he's been miles ahead of all these people.

So far, President Trump has accurately stated who's been spying and who's been lying. The bird droppings have been missing his entire family, in fact.

Papadopoulos (that's a fun name to say, for more reasons than one) has been wearing a wire. There are almost certainly more indictments on the way. Any bets on when (not if) Trump will resign?

The next indictments that get unsealed will not be against any Trump people because the Trump people involved actually helped set up the stings.

You should read the entire indictment of Papadopoflop

read it carefully and don't mistake his statements for truth

A snippet...

Defendant PAPADOPOULOS claimed that his interactions with an
overseas professor, who defendant PAPADOPOULOS understood to have substantial
connections to Russian government officials, occurred before defendant PAP ADOPOULOS
became a foreign policy adviser to the Campaign. Defendant PAPADOPOULOS acknowledged
that the professor had told him about the Russians possessing "dirt" on then-candidate Hillary
Clinton in the form of"thousands of emails," but stated multiple times that he learned that
information prior to joining the Campaign. In truth and in fact, however, defendant
PAPADOPOULOS learned he would be an advisor to the Campaign in early March, and met the
professor on or about March 14, 2016; the professor only took interest in defendant
PAPADOPOULOS because of his status with the Campaign; and the professor told defendant
PAPADOPOULOS about the "thousands of emails" on or about April 26, 2016, when defendant
PAPADOPOULOS had been a foreign policy adviser to the Campaign for over a month.

Yes, the events of today clearly show that the "Trump people" are obviously the good guys in all this and were only trying help bring down the real bad guys. I'll have whatever you're smoking..

But the best part of the "deleted emails" is:

The FBI already had those and the Trump Campaign was well aware of that.

So along came Mr Papadopoflop and says he can get them from Russians, especially Putin's Niece !!

You can imagine the LOLs coming from Trump when he heard that whopper.

Mueller’s office says Papadopoulos plea deal is a ‘small part’ of ‘a large-scale ongoing investigation’

www.rawstory.com...

All the Trumpanzees crowing about this is the end & all they have are "years old financial crimes" are going to be ranting to the high heavens soon.

K~

I say bring em all down, anyone thats corrupt. Though we should really be thanking the russians for exposing our cesspool of politics.

USA Today does a nice job of explaining all the moving parts, and the "real threat".

Remember when President Trump asked Russia to "find Hillary's lost e-mails"? Did this request cause Russia to find them, or Papadopoulos to help Russia hack them? (For "opposition research", of course.)

All part of the Trump strategy.

He knew all along the FBI had them.

He was flushing out the pheasants.

This is effing ridiculous.

"This is the end for (insert corrupt politician here)!"

"Nuh uh! It's the end for (insert corrupt politician here)!"

"Double Nuh uh!! Your guy sucks more than mine!"

"Triple Nuh uh!!....etc."

Like a bunch of schoolyard kids arguing over something they have absolutely no stake in. Whatever happens you guys won't have a damn thing to do with it yet you act like it's your life on the line. Lol.

Political bread and circus for those who have nothing better to do.

Not sure about how strategic.Just as WSJ calls for Mueller to step down he drops the indictment bomb. Coincidence or was it do or die time? I'd be surprised if this goes beyond Manafort. The Podestas know way too much and could drag down most of the govt. Definitely a thriller, just hope it's not a dud ending

Can I quote you for posterity's sake when DT, Donny Jr and Kushner are all fully shat upon by a giant eagle (ie Mueller)?

They could very well be eventually.

But it is nice to have you on record that all three of them will be charged.

Youd look quite foolish if you are wrong.

That is a pretty pointed article.

The Steele memos were political hit pieces based on unverified foreign sources and paid for by Democrats and the Clinton campaign. For it to then be accepted by the government’s legal apparatus and used as part of the investigative process taints the entire enterprise. It mixes the political and governmental in a way that compromises the methods and motives of everyone involved. It is a case study in subverting democracy.

This in the usa today?
That is a pretty mainstream newspaper.
Very interesting, it appears the tide is turning.

If by "pointed" you mean biased, then yeah, it's pointed. It's an opinion piece by a senior member of the AFPC (a conservative think-tank).

What sense does that make?

I will cheer for proper justice without perceived foolishness.

It appears that what we have is a dirty lobbying group that may be about to fall.

The question is whether or not and how far up the chain of clientele Mueller is going to chase things.

Is the USA Today no longer a "mainstream newspaper"?

Nothing to refute the article though?
