One of the just released JFK assassination files has a claim that former President Lyndon Johnson was a KKK member early in his political career !!

Bombshell if true and can be confirmed elsewhere.

Just think about the possibilities.

The claim is from notes compiled about something published in Louisiana by somebody named "Ned Touchstone".

The notes refer to "The Counsilor" in March of 1964.

Must be some old conspiracy "rumors" eh.

? Who was "The Counsilor" ?

The Document

In addition, Lyndon Johnson is an example of a war criminal by participating in the mass murder of millions of Vietnamese and Cambodians.

The U.S. government has committed war crimes, crimes against peace and against mankind. In South Vietnam, half a million U.S. and satellite troops have resorted to the most inhuman weapons and most barbarous methods of warfare, such as napalm, toxic chemicals and gases, to massacre our compatriots, destroy crops, and raze villages to the ground. In North Vietnam, thousands of U.S. aircraft have dropped hundreds of thousands of tons of bombs, destroying towns, villages, factories, schools. In your message, you apparently deplore the sufferings and destruction in Vietnam. May I ask you: Who has perpetrated these monstrous crimes? It is the United States and satellite troops. The U.S. government is entirely responsible for the extremely serious situation in Vietnam.

Nah. No one cares about them, old news from some other place, so protesting that wont divide the nation like twisting a fork in the touchy white / black dynamic does. They're just in it for the divisiveness.

His white half was a member of the KKK. His Black half was a member of the Black Panthers. This is easy to prove by his actions as president. He hated white people, and he never helped the black community, and he used his Black Panther comrades at voting precincts against non democrat voters, so both halves were racist and cancelled each other out.

I love your threads. You don't read the source material and neither do the people responding

The Councilor isn't a who, it's a what and the document states clearly what it is in the very first line.

Reference is made to an article on the investigation of the assassination of President Kennedy in the the 3-15-64 issue of "The Councilor" (received 4-13-64) which identifies itself as having been published by the Citizens' Council of Louisiana Inc., for Americans everywhere.

It's a newsletter for the a Citizen's Council. Citizen's Councils were what the Trump voters of the era did in the 50s and 60s.

Edit to add:

Here's the synopsis:

The editor of a racist org's newsletter, Ned Touchstone, a klansman himself, once bragged to a confidential informant that the Klan had proof that LBJ was once a member of the Klan, in Texas, in the early days of his career.

Well it took a whopping 13 posts to finally Trump spun into the affair, at least. That must be a new record.

It also took 13 posts for somebody to read the one-page document the OP doesn't seem to have read either. Furthermore, the very first response was what?

Big surprise.

And your thoughtful response? Antifa and statues? Yeah, you're definitely occupying the high ground.

So someone pointing out the dude was a Democrat and pointing out the historical implications given this revelation is tantamount to someone spinning Trump/Hillary into a subject from over 50 years ago?

And cmon, you know you laughed at that one.

Uh huh.

So let's be sure to take cheap partisan potshots every single day, every single chance we get, in every single thread we possibly can.

Because partisan lemmings are where its at on ATS. Yeah baby yeah !

All day.

Every day.

Same Bat time.

Same Bat channel.

News Flash:

Many of us old time conspiracy theorists are interested in reading about the new stuff coming out about JFK that doesn't involve juvenile partisan trolling, cheap potshots, and neener neener hair pulling.

Time for some of you kiddies to grow up.
