Steele dossier sources:

How good were these sources? Consider what Steele would write in the memos he filed with Simpson: Source A—to use the careful nomenclature of his dossier—was “a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure.” Source B was “a former top level intelligence officer still active in the Kremlin.” And both of these insiders, after “speaking to a trusted compatriot,” would claim that the Kremlin had spent years getting its hooks into Donald Trump.

Source E was “an ethnic Russian” and “close associate of Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump.”
...
Then there was Source D, “a close associate of Trump who had organized and managed his recent trips to Moscow,” and Source F, “a female staffer” at the Moscow Ritz-Carlton hotel, who was co-opted into the network by an Orbis “ethnic Russian operative” working hand in hand with the loquacious Trump insider, Source E.

From the alt-right Vanity Fair

Thank you!

It was going to be tuff linking and quoting from my phone.

Also funny that the posts saying how there is no proof the steele info came from Russians (which as shown steele admits) is getting stars.

Could that mean that othes claiming this is a big deal dont know that it came from russia, or that they dont care about the facts at all and instead just want to make excuses for their own team.

My god you actually are claiming this!

Hahahahahaha!!!!!

The only thing that makes me happy, is in knowing that you have all the answers. I'm genuinely glad about that.

Well I dont have all of the asnwers.

But I do have a base knowledge of the dossier in question, which I would recommend anyone try to get before declaring other people wrong.

But leaving all joking aside, I have made mistakes before, its no big deal. Hell introvert pointed out one I made on this thraed and I acknowledged he was right.

Now that you know it was Russian sources, do you think the dems paying for dirt that comes from russian sources to prove russian collusion is horribly troubling?

I dont think it was russian collusion. I dont think anyone willingly plotted with russian agents on eithr side . However does look like they were successful in the regards to sewing discord in the public. And boy is hypocrisy off the scale on both sides as i have watched people totally change course.

Well as my intial post shows, I think this istuation is unique for various reasons.

In general, I do think getting info from foreign countries from campaigns is shady, but not a big deal. However, paying for dirt from russia is far different than just russians volunteering info with nothing in return.

I would include this steele dossier in this statement and the fact that Hillarys team help pay for it, except for the 5 things i outlined in the OP.

1. The insane hysteria from democrats and the media on Trump possible russian collusion. 24/7 day after day after day, and now when its the dems, well to them its no big deal.

2. Hillarys team lied about paying for it.

3. The people that paid for this dossier and then screamed Russia for nearly a year actually did give russia the means to interefer with our political system.

4. This may have been used by Obama to obtain fisa warrants to spy on trump people.

5. The fbi partially paid for this with tax money and has been stonewalling questions about it.

But to your point, yes, there are hypocrites on both sides.

But the most powerful and consequential hypocrites are the media and democrats that have screamed "Russia" for nearly a year.

This is like drunks bloviating at a bar.

REALITY

Fusion GPS "colluded with Russians" via Steele the same way the CIA colludes with Russia when it gathers intelligence from Russian Sources.

DELSUSION

an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument, typically a symptom of mental disorder.

Pure opinion here, but taking a good look at POTUS and his mental state?

Pretty sure he paid hookers to pee on a bed for him and took any help he could get from Putin.

Pretty sure you guys think the same.

I don't think that will be Muellers conclusion, but I do think we are going to see multiple indictments and enough evidence for people to get the picture.

You guys crack me up.

It came from a reputable and respected former MI-6 agent with a history of providing reliable intel.

Donald Trump dossier: intelligence sources vouch for author's credibility
www.theguardian.com...

former colleagues rallied to defend him. One described him as “very credible” – a sober, cautious and meticulous professional with a formidable record.

The former Foreign Office official, who has known Steele for 25 years and considers him a friend, said: “The idea his work is fake or a cowboy operation is false – completely untrue. Chris is an experienced and highly regarded professional. He’s not the sort of person who will simply pass on gossip.”

Here is another thing I love. People make a bold claim why this isn't a big deal, someone answers them, and then they just drop the subject.

For example, a member that claimed anyone who thought there should be invetsigation into this is an alt right wing nut.

So I show that foreign democratic cia director Panetta is calling for an investigation into the dnc and hillarys team for this dossier.

And.... No response.

Or only alt right sources say this dossier was used for Fisa warrants.

So I show a CNN article stating that.

And.... No response.

Or how about there is nor proof that the sources for the dossier was russian agents.

It is shown that Steele admitted that fact.

And... No response.

These deflections are amusing to watch though.

Yep we all believe Trump was getting peed on.

The DNC and hillarys team and even steele are not CIA.

If they went to kremlin official and said "Give us dirt on Trump", that is collusion.

Answer this, where did that, "reputable and respected former MI-6 agent," say he got the information?

Lord your arguments are muddled.

First - Russia interfered with our elections, THEN people screamed about it and rightly so.

It's like some twister game up there in your noggin.

Haha!

So now its ok to collude with russians if your intermediary is "respected"?

keep going, its hilarious.

Some more info regarding the credibility of the source...

The official added: “If he puts something in a report, he believes there’s sufficient credibility in it for it to be worth considering. Chris is a very straight guy. He could not have survived in the job he was in if he had been prone to flights of fancy or doing things in an ill-considered way.”

That is the way the CIA and the FBI, not to mention the British government, regarded him, too. It’s not hard to see why.

A Cambridge graduate, Steele was one of the more eminent Russia specialists for the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6).

Technically he did not get peed on, but watched like a 12 year old boy fascinated with anatomy of the other sex.
Yep...It turns out he was precisely at the Ritz in Moscow where the dossier said he was and on the exact day the dossier claimed and with the same people it claimed. (The same guy that introduced Trump Jr. to team Russia in Trump Tower)

Hell, there is even a music video Trump shot there with Aras at the Moscow Ritz on that day.

Yes I have a link which was already posted.

Again, do we have another person arguing page after page that doesnt know the bare minimum of the situation?

The New York Times senior White House correspondent Maggie Haberman and reporter Kenneth Vogel are slamming Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC), saying they lied about funding for the so-called Trump dossier.

"When I tried to report this story, Clinton campaign lawyer @marceelias pushed back vigorously, saying 'You (or your sources) are wrong,' " Vogel tweeted, referring to Clinton campaign lawyer Marc Elias.

...

"Folks involved in funding this lied about it, and with sanctimony, for a year," Haberman tweeted to her more than 650,000 followers on Tuesday

thehill.com...

But I guess these New York Times reporters are just alt right nutbags or something, right?

And yes, we now have proof that those screaming about russian interference were using russian collusion and interference themselves to try to influence our political system.

Someone who not only believes the pee story, but also believes we all secretly believe it too.

This is great stuff!

Evidence that Clinton & FBI used Russia against Trump.
If ANY of it was used After trump was in office as President,
Then they are guilty of treason. of with their heads!

it is obvious that FBI CIA and trump are reading ATS.

Not only that, but they apparently are incapable of reading comprehension when it is shown that Steele himself states (in the dossier, no less) that many of his sources were indeed, wait for it...

Russian.

Cognitive dissonance doesn't even begin to cover it.

Noted for posterity.

It is the Pee Story +++

Trump has a history in Russia and the former republics.

Give time for the cards to drop. Mueller is just the beginning of what we will find out if Trump doesn't help Putin out in the next 24 months.

And the utter arrogance that some display while being objectively wrong on things (such as Steeles russian sources) is mind boggling.

But being shown they are wrong doesn't bother them, they just move on to the next deflcetion and feign intelectual superiority.

Luckily, objective people can see right through this act.
