Chinese unveil firescout equivalent (vtol/helicopter ucav)

The lack of new threads on new subjects I find...disturbing. So! Let's fix that.

The Chinese recently unvriledntheir AV-500W. The max takeoff weight is 450 kg and has a top speed of 170 km/h. Their is an accompanying missile with a short 5 km range.

I'd say they are roughly a decade behind us with this beast, but that number might be as little as 5 years given how sceloratic the pentagon has become or as much as 15 if the Chinese are showing this off earlier than the norm for them. Time will tell.

Feels like it'd be pretty unpleasant for the crewmen on board the ship with just 2 rotor blades. Firescout has 4 blades. It'd also need to be quite a bit wider for something with a comparable weight.
